Taehyun's mind was preoccupied with a lot of things that he did n't realise when the train halted with a shrill screech . Taehyun mindlessly grabbed his luggage and walked through the sea of passengers colliding with many on his way but he did n't bother to apologize . His eyes were downcasted and his stomach churned anxiously at the thought of confronting Beomgyu after he knew everything . The taxi ride seemed much shorter in comparison with other times , leaving him right infront of the faculty's gates with his suitcase in his right hand and the blue umbrella firmly held in the left one . His breathing became irratic as soon as he stepped inside the faculty and cold sweat beaded across his forehead . His face had lost its golden hue and his lips had become chapped and white .
He swallowed the lump in his throat which felt like sandpaper when he saw Yeonjun coming in his direction with a big smile plastered on his face . " Taehyun what a surprise ! I though you will be coming after two days . Is your work done ? Honestly I felt so guilty for fighting with you . But let me tell you Beomgyu has been a stubborn brat since you went . He won't eat and irritate the heck out of all nurses . Thank god you are here , he was missing you a lot . "
Taehyun stiffened at the mention of Beomgyu but what blanked his mind was when the said boy called out for him loudly from a distance , " Taehyun!!! Taehyun is that you ?" Beomgyu dashed towards him with eyes widened and jaw slacked open in astonishment while panting heavily . He paused before Taehyun and bended down to place his hands on the knees as he gasped for breath . After a few seconds he raised his head to look up at Taehyun who could only compare Beomgyu's beautiful eyes to the one he saw all those years ago , both were exactly same except earlier it was fearful and teary .
Beomgyu folded his arms expanding his shoulders dominantly before squinting his eyes and hissing , " You liar , you told me you will come after three days but you are already here on the first one and most importantly you have n't informed me . How dare you ! This idiot Yeonjun and that mad nurse drived me nuts . And when you came you should firstly meet your patient rather than your stupid friend . You know what , I think you don't care about me at all , I don't matter for you right . You disappointed me Taehyun . " Taehyun stood frozen there ahead Beomgyu who had his eyebrows scrunched in fury and lips puckered out in a cute pout .
Though Beomgyu never meant whatever he said , Taehyun could n't help feeling a pang of guilt in his chest . His eyes became watery and he did the only thing that he believed could take some pain away . He yanked Beomgyu by hand and pulled him into a tight hug and burrowed his head in the other's shoulder's bade while whimpering silently . Beomgyu was too shocked to react that he stayed there in Taehyun's arms with pink blush slowly tinting his cheeks . He heard small whimpers coming from Taehyun and felt his shirt drenching wet with tears .
Beomgyu panicked instantly and rubbed the other's back affectionately while caressing Taehyun's scarlet hair and asked , " Taehyun what happened ? why are you crying ? " Quite expectedly he got no response but nonetheless Beomgyu waited patiently letting Taehyun cry till his loud whimpers turned into faint sniffs . Beomgyu gently placed his hands on the other's cheeks raising his head to meet his eyes and his heart shattered on seeing his hazel eyes blotched with tears that cascaded down his tanned face .
" I am sorry . I never meant to hurt you . I promise I will always take your care and never leave you alone again . Please forgive me . " Taehyun whispered to Beomgyu who furrowed confusingly till he remebered that he was apologizing for what Beomgyu commented earlier . His face softened immediately and he smiled widely while grazing his thumbs to erase the remaining hints of tears from other's face before voicing out , " Hey I was joking . I was never serious .You know me right how dramatic I can be . I know you care for me . Maybe the most anyone has ever cared and I trust you blindly . There is no need for any apologies . Come with me I will take you to my room . We have a lot to talk about . " Taehyun nodded and smiled lighlty as Beomgyu removed his hands from Taehyun's face and engulfed his hand rather .
He enterwined his warm finger's with the other's cold ones and they walked away to Beomgyu's room . Meanwhile Yeonjun who was standing at the side the whole time witnessing the two still processed what the fuck just happened . First Taehyun arrives early and then Beomgyu is arguing with him and the next thing he knew was they were hugging completely ignoring the fact he was still there , Taehyun was crying for God knows what and now they both are heading to Beomgyu's room hand in hand . Yeonjun blinked once , twice and muttered to himself , " I must go to Soobin . That suits me better . "
Taehyun and Beomgyu both were sitting on the bed in comfortable silence . Beomgyu was stealing occassional glances at the other who had finally calmed now . Beomgyu voice sounded after sometime who uttered , " I was wondering something . You wanted to know about my dream right . I think that I am ready to tell you about . So it was ......" Beofre Beomgyu could mumble an another word Taehyun placed a finger on his plush lips shutting him instantly . Beomgyu eyes flickered from Taehyun's fingers to his face who grinned soflty before speaking , " No need .....I don't want to know your dream anymore . Don't worry . I think you should sleep now its already late . " Taehyun motioned to get out of the bed but a warm hand prevented him from doing so and he turned around to look at Beomgyu whose cheeks were flushed as he sheepishly stuttered , " Can.....Can you stay ? Monster does n't come when you are around ."
A smile forced its way to Taehyun's lips as he patted his lap and Beomgyu nervously laid his head on him . His body was stiff but as soon as Taehyun stroked his fingers through other's hair , Beomgyu relaxed and fluttered his eyelashes close enjoying the soothing feeling and just after sometime he drifted to sleep . Taehyun stared at Beomgyu's face , various questions troubling his mind . Why was he declared Schizophrenic when he was a PTSD patient ? How come no one in the faculty figured it out ? Why Beomgyu never remebered anything ? But no matter what he promised himself ....
"I will get you out of here Beomgyu . " Taehyun whispered before placing a feathery kiss on other's forehead and leaving the room .
