Chapter#29: Apologies

The sun rays were caressing my face and I wasn't liking it at the moment. I moved out of my bed to let the blindfolds go down.
It took five seconds to get myself into my senses.

The whole scene of yesterday revolved around my eyes.
I was little drunk ... a lot... By the way I drank very little, it affected me badly. Whatever!!
Then Tristan helped me get cleaned up and moved me to my bed.
I asked for sleeping pills since my head hurts a lot and so I had three of those tiny white tablets.
Then what happened...??
Yeah, Tristan told me that my mobile was dead so he put it on charge.

I moved towards my mobile phone and switched off the button. The bright screen showed me 100% charging.

Well, after that I remember that Tristan had an expression like he had seen aliens. What was the reason??

I focused on my memory but my brain refused to function right now.
Without any further delay, I went into my comfy bed again and closed my eyes to sleep since it was half past nine and today was Saturday so I could rest.

.......

The next two days I barely talked to Tristan since it was weekend and I had to over work at nights at the bar.
He was also kind of avoiding me for which the reason I don't know and I didn't want to know coz I was already so tired of my routine.

Issac kept calling me the entire weekend but I didn't answer. He spammed my notification bar with eight messages. I saw none of them but I could of course read the messages from the notifications popping. 

Issac: Hey, I'm sorry for whatever happened that day. I actually lost my control. You know it happens after all you are also an adult.

Issac: Bella?? Why aren't you responding? You angry??

Issac: pick up the call, please.

Issac: where have you been since yesterday??

Issac: Are you alright ?? Plz reply asap.

Issac: Oh! So you're ignoring.

Issac: will see you tomorrow.

Issac: Byees!! 🙂

I came home by 12:30 and was surprised to see Tristan at home. He was drinking orange juice while sitting on the counter of the kitchen. He was doing something on his mobile phone.
"Hi" I smiled.
"Hello!" He said lifting his face and gave a cheesy smile back, then shifted his eyes again on the mobile screen.

"How are you doing?" I asked putting my bag on the counter.
"I'm fine." He replied without making an eye contact.
I was waiting for him to ask about my day or something but he didn't.

I got frustrated and so I snatched the mobile phone from his hand.
He was shocked at first but remain calm and composed on my action.
"What are you up to?" I asked.

He stayed quiet as if finding words to reply. At last he unzipped his lips "I know you are already so angry due to that night but it just went so quick ... And trust me I didn't has the intention to give you the wrong pills neither I wanted to take advantage of the situation.... It just happened & I'm guilty on that....
I know you are all short tempered right now but you need to understand it and accept my apology please.. I'm really sorry."
I didn't get a single idea about what he was referring to and why he was guilty but I could feel his words sincere enough.

As he lifted his bowed face, his brows started to frown. Looks like he got the idea that I didn't understand any of his words.
Does he read minds??

"So you ... You didn't remember??" 

"What??" I asked confusingly.

"That night you were drunk."

"I remember.. I guess."

"I think you don't remember it very well."

Before clearing the scenario he told me to get changed and he would made coffee for both of us in the meantime. I did as I was told.
Then we sat in the balcony and he told me each and every thing and made his position clear. I was shook on that scene. I never knew I could become this horny.
Wow! I discovered a new side of me.

I accepted his apology and told him it was not his mistake.
After that we changed the subject to what have we been doing on weekends. He asked me to go out in a couple of days. Since I liked his company so I agreed.
No, actually I love it.

He didn't told me where would we go but he promised me that I would love it since it was his favorite place. I was curious to discover it & was excited like a child at the same time who is going to open his birthday present.
