"Alright, let's go get changed for the council meeting." Marella said once the boys had left.

"I think I Iook fine." Tam argued.

"Tam! You're covered in flour!"

Tam looked down at his clothes, which were indeed covered in flour. Sighing, he reluctantly agreed. "Fine."

As Marella and Tam started going back down towards their house, Tam bumped shoulders with Marella. Smiling mischievously, she nudged him back, a bit harder and Tam took a step to the side to steady himself. He retaliated with an even harder knock which caused Marella to stumble a few steps forward.

Oh it is on! Marella thought, grinning as she crashed into Tam's side with such a force that he almost fell into the grass. Using that to her advantage, Marella managed to quickly run into the house and lock the back door, sticking her tongue out the kitchen window. Tam laughed as he ran toward the open window, and before Marella could close it, he stuck his hands inside and grabbed her wrists.

"Let go or el-" Marella started, but Tam let go of one hand, and started to tickle her stomach. "Agh! Stop!" Marella shrieked, fighting off a giggle fit.

"Or else what?" Tam challenged, a wide grin on his face. Marella tried to break free of his hold, but to no avail. She decided to play her secret weapon. She leaned forward, and pressed her lips against his. Tam wrapped his arms around her, and she took her chance, and tickled him under his arms. Tam let out a girl-like shriek, and tried to flail away, causing Marella to fall out of the window and land on top of him. She had a moment of shock, but it passed quickly, and she resumed tickling him. Tam laughed so hard he was practically crying.

"Mom I forgot my alche-" Zym's voice called, his eyes widening when he saw his parents giggling like 3 year-olds in the grass. Marella and Tam quickly scrambled to their feet, turning roughly the color of tomatoes. "Ok...I'm just gonna. Yeah, I'm gonna go get my alchemy textbook." Looking rather mortified, and turned towards the back door.

Tam, now less flustered, and able to speak told Zym, "I think it's locked."

"But both of you are outside."

"I fell out of the window." Marella explained, pointing to the opened window.

"But how did you fall out of a window? Actually wait-don't answer that." Zym asked, eyeing the open window.

"Eh, let's just say your mom is not the most balanced person in the world." Tam casually said. Marella scowled at him.

When Zym still looked suspicious, Marella quickly decided on a topic change. "How about we get this door open."

Zym nodded as Tam swiftly climbed into the open window, hitting his head on the top of the frame. He stumbled back and pressed his hands against his bruised forehead. "Augh!"

"Am I really that unbalanced?" Marella said, smirking. Now Tam had two problems- bruised pride and a bruised forehead. Marella who was a foot shorter than Tam levitated towards the window, and with showy gusto danced through the air, and into the window, "The evidence is overwhelming. All the blame falls on you!" She stuck her tongue out the window, and closed it. She grabbed the textbook off the table, and opened the door. Zym quickly grabbed his textbook and leaped away, and Tam and Marella headed upstairs to get ready to meet the council.
