Jungkook was walking down a narrow corridor, going down the stone stairs in almost complete darkness. Had it not been for his vampire senses, he would probably have trouble seeing anything. In addition, he was feeling throbbing pain in his temples and nauseous after the accident. He felt confused, everything happened so quickly that he wasn't sure if it was true or just a dream.

When Jin caught him, he took his phone and called V. He heard their conversation clearly and with every second his heart was falling apart. He didn't struggle anymore. He tried to remain calm and listen to Jin's instructions. He knew well that even if he started fighting him and Jin killed him, it wouldn't change the fact that he would still chase V. So he tried to think of some other way to get them both out of this situation, but the constant headache was effectively preventing him focusing on anything.

The lower he went down, the more he felt the smell of humidity and mustiness, which irritated his nostrils unkindly. He was almost convinced he could smell blood, but he preferred not to think of how it could get in the vampire's basement. When he was almost at the end of the stairs, the sound of a chain crept into his ears, and in the blink of an eye, bile rose in his throat. Instinctively, he covered his mouth with his hand, stopping the gag reflex. He began to feel dizzy, and if it wasn't for the hand of Jin, who had grabbed him strongly by the shoulder, he might have fallen to his knees. The vampire, however, watched him closely enough that he didn't miss the fact how his body tensed at the sound.

Jungkook licked his lips and swallowed hard, then went down the last few steps. When his feet reached the stone ground, the room was filled with pale orange-yellow light. Feeling his heart racing quickly and nervously, he kept his eyes on the ground, afraid of what he might see. He tried to even his breath, staring at his own feet. When he suddenly heard the twang of chains and a loud bang against a metal grate almost beside him, accompanied by a loud snarl, not reminiscent of any animal he knew, he almost jumped in place, scared. Startled, he looked up and looked to the right, where an unknown sound came from.

- J-Jesus... - he groaned quietly, seeing a row of cages in front of him.

To his right, in the cage closest to him, was a boy unknown to him. He was certainly a vampire, but his hunger for blood drove him to such an extent that the dark-haired boy struggled in his shackles, trying to stretch out his hands as far as possible to reach him. His vampire fangs glistened ominously in his gums, and a growling noise escaped his lips. Seeing that the vampire's hands were almost reaching his shoulder, Jungkook took a step back, wanting to increase the distance between himself and the starving vampire.

- Aah! Come here! I can smell your blood... Your smell... - suddenly the stranger threw, grabbing the bars, as if to pull them out.

- Relax, I won't throw you on them... - Jin finally said, then pushed him lightly in the back, ordering him to keep walking.

Brunet held his breath and with a strong beating heart moved on. His chocolate iris closely followed the cages he passed. There were vampires in each of them. They were all young boys. Probably most of them were about twenty, maybe twenty several years old. Some merely looked at him fascinated, others - like the first one - tried to grab him through the bars, while shouting something about his blood.
