"Wake up, it's not your time yet.."

Nagising ako sa boses na 'yon, ang boses na matagal ko nang nami-miss.. Everything is bright, nakakasilaw, nasa langit na ba ako?

"Wake up, they are waiting for you.."

A woman pops out in front of me..

"Mom.." I said tearing up..

"I'll be here, i'm watching you.." She smiled..

"Mom.." I step forward to hug her but she vanished..

"Oh my gosh.. Doc!" A voice of my sister echoed all over the room..

Where am I? Nakahiga lang ako.. I think I'm in the hospital.. A doctor and nurses came in, I saw in my peripheral vision Ayah burst in tears.. Am I that unconscious? Gaano ako katagal dito?

The doctor checked my vital signs, when they saw that i'm okay, nag-usap pa sila ni Ayah.. I don't know what are they talking about..

"S-salamat po.." Ayah said..

Umalis na yung doctor and nurses.. "E-eonnie.." She said while bursting in tears again.. "A-alam ko na yung nangyari sayo.. I-i'm sorry ate, napabayaan kita.." She sobbed.. "Three days kang u-unconscious, mababa daw yung dugo mo.. You are very stressed daw.."

Parang nag-flashback yung nangyari sa akin.. I'm tearing up again.. "W-where's Chase?" I don't know why i'm finding him, I just want to know..

Her facial expression changed, her eyes widened.. "N-nag ano.. nag.." I looked at the door when it opened..

"Alliyah here's the---" He froze when he saw me, may dala-dalang supot, I don't know what's inside that.. "The... Food.."

"A-ah, sige.. Lagay mo na lang jaan s-sa lamesa.." She smiled fakely.. "Pwede pahiram ng s-susi? M-may nakalimutan ako sa kotse.." Why are they acting like this? Hindi ba kapanipaniwala yung pagkabuhay ko? Gusto ba nila ako na patay?

He nodded, he gave his car key to Ayah saka siya lumabas at sinara yung pinto.. "A-are you fine now? May masakit ba sayo? J-just tell me.."

"I'm.. Fine.. The doctor.. Already.. Checked me.." I said.. Every word, i'm breathing.. Is my asthma attacked me again? Pero hindi ko alam?

"Don't talk too much, don't waste your oxygen." He sat down beside me.. "Do you want anything? I can give you what you want.."

"I'm.. Okay.." I'm still out of breath, I was just staring at the ceiling.. Hindi ko maigalaw yung ulo ko, parang namamanhid.. My whole body is numb! "Do you.. Still.. Attend.. Class?" I asked him, still staring at the ceiling..

"I'm waiting for you to wake up.. You're very unconscious, the doctor said.." He answered..

I nodded.. I bit my lip while tearing up remembering those things again..

"Forget about it.." He held my hand again, that's when my tears starts to roll down.. "You're safe now.."

"Nakita mo ba yung---" Ayah opened the door, she stopped when she looked at us.. "A-ay! Ano ba yan! Naiwan ko yung susi! Teka babalik ako!" Saka niya sinara yung pinto, She's holding the key!

"Why.. Are you.. Not.. Attending class?" I asked again, I don't have anything to ask..

"I'm waiting for you to wake up.." He answered the same thing.. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked again..

"Why are you.. Doing this?" I asked back..

"Doing what?" He confusedly asked..

"These.. Things.. You are being nice.. t-to.. me.."

"Please, save your energy.. D-don't talk to much.." He said avoiding what I said, then that's when he realized he hold my hand for too long kaya tinanggal niya 'yon..

"Do you want water?" He asked, I nodded.. "So, you like seventy two percent of me?" I looked at him showing my what-the-f look.. "Just kidding, I just want to make you laugh even if it's sounds cheesy.." He giggled..

Kumuha siya ng bottled water sa supot na dala niya kanina, inalalayan niya akong makaupo..

"I can't.. Move my.. Hands.." I said.. He sighed, he opened the cap, siya na yung nagpainom sa akin.. He even wipe my mouth using the back of his hands..

"Paano.. Yung.. Hospital.. Bills?" I asked him.. Nakakahiya naman kung siya ulit magbabayad..

"Me.. Why? Is there a problem?" He answered the question in my mind.. Manghuhula ba 'to?

"Pwede namang.. Kami na.. Lang.." I scratched my head..

"It's fine.." He smiled.. "Magpagaling ka muna, bago ka mag-isip ng kung ano-ano.."

"..Yes po, opo.. Pupunta kami jan? Now na? Today? Ha? Sige po.." Pumasok si Ayah, then she ended the call.. Lumapit siya kay Chase at may binulong, anong tinatago sila?

"Sino.. Yan?" I asked, I haven't seen Ayah calling someone..

They looked at me, nakatulala lang sila sa akin na parang nagulat sa tanong ko.. Ano nakakagulat doon?

"A-ano kasi.." She scratched her head.. "Ano.."

"Ano?.." I asked..

"M-may ano kasi, may group study kami.. Sabi ko hindi ako makakapunta hehe.." She smiled awkwardly, is she nervous?..

"Ayah.." Chase stands up.. "Please, take care of Jorielei.. I will go home, may kukunin lang ako.." Ayah nodded, then he left the room.. Why are they acting weird today?

"Ate, alam ko'ng ayaw mo nang maalala pero kasi.. Na-curious ako kung bakit nangyari sayo yon'" She asked na parang nag-aalangan..

I sighed deeply.. "I don't know either.." I sighed again.. "But.. Please don't tell this.. To anyone.. Chase too.. Only two of us.. Will know this.." I said, she nodded..

"Yung totoo lang.. Nag overtime kami sa.. Last lesson namin.." I'm out of breath oh my god! "After that.. Nag-cr ako.. Papasok pa lang ako sa cr.. Nang biglang may humila sa akin.. It's Chandler.. Hindi ko alam.. Kung paano siya nakapasok.. Sa building, kinausap niya ako.. Pinipilit niya ako na.. Bumalik na daw ako sa kaniya.. But I refused.." I sighed more.. "Pero ang sinabi ko kay Chase.. Na may pinagawa sa akin si Miss Dionisia.." Namumuo na ulit yung luha sa mata ko..

"S-sorry ate.." Her tears fell down.

"It's not your fault.." I smiled.. I stretched my arms to give her a hug, lumapit naman siya at niyakap ako pabalik..

Kumain na muna ako, sinusubuan lang ako ni Ayah because I'm still shaking.. Saka ako umidlip..

"Kuya Chase, hindi dapat muna malaman ni ate kung sino--"

"Lower down your voice, baka marinig.."

"..Kung sino yung nagtangkang---"

"I said lower down you voice.."

"Eh ikaw 'tong maingay e!"

"Just don't tell her that I went to police station a while ago.."

I opened my eyes a liitle bit, Ayah and Chase are talking..

"Dapat nga hindi muna malaman ni ate kung sino yung, alam mo na.."

"Ok, fine.." Chase said..

"Kasi baka mamaya! Biglang bumangon yan'!"

"Sino? Sino Ayah? Sino!" Parang nawala yung sakit ng buong katawan ko.. Napasigaw na kang ako..

"Ate.."
