One month later (Kate is 7 months pregnant).....

"Castle?" asked Beckett. "Yes my beautiful wife," responded Castle. "Ohhh you're so sweet. I was wondering if we could go to the store after I finish this paperwork," Beckett replied. "Sure. Why?" responded Castle. "I need new clothes again because of the babies growing, and I thought we might want to buy some things to start the nursery." "Okay. What color do you think the nursery should be?" asked Castle. "Maybe we should make it two different colors." Beckett responded. "Yeah, like maybe make half the room pink and half the room blue." Castle suggested. "Could we put a couple white strips around the walls about halfway up to make it look more modern?" asked Kate. "Sure," replied Castle. "Now finish up that paperwork."

At the store.....

"Does this shirt make me look fat?" asked Kate. Her and Castle were at the mall trying to find Beckett some more clothes for work. "I already told you that you do not look fat. Your belly is our babies, not fat." replied Castle. Sighing, Kate tried on some more shirts and then went to go find some bras. "Why do you need new bras?" asked Castle. "Because mine don't fit anymore. My boobs are larger thanks to the twins." she said with a sigh. This made Castle smirk. After Kate bought new shirts, bras, pants, and underwear, her and Castle headed off to buy items for the nursery. "Do you like this crib?" asked Castle. "No, not really," replied Kate. The two of them walked around looking at cribs and then suddenly both of them pointed to the same crib and said, "I want that one." "Well I guess it's settled. We will get two of these." said Castle. Next they looked at changing tables, storage options, rocking chairs, baby clothes, bottles, and pacifiers. "Hey Castle?" asked Kate. "Umm, where is Alexis's baby going to sleep?" "Oh, I hadn't even thought of that," replied Castle. "I guess the baby should sleep in her room." "Should we get one extra of everything then?" asked Kate. "Yeah, I guess so." replied Castle. They grabbed one extra of everything and headed for the check out.....

Back at home.....

"Hey Alexis," called Kate once they opened the door. "We got you some baby things." Alexis then walked down the stairs to see what they had bought. "These things are yours," said Castle pointing to a pile. "Oh, thanks," Alexis said quietly. "What's wrong?" asked Kate. "NOTHING!" screamed Alexis. Then she started crying and apologized for yelling before quickly returning to her room. Kate started crying when Alexis yelled at her, so Castle was hugging and kissing her on the couch until she finally stopped. Then they both went up to talk to Alexis. "Alexis, please tell us what is bothering you," said Castle. "We might be able to help," added Kate. "I saw this girl, my friend, at the store today and she asked me about my baby and wether it is a boy or girl. I told her it was a girl and she said she hopes the baby isn't as irresponsible and stupid as me. I thought she was my friend, but I guess not." said Alexis crying. "Hey, it's okay." said Castle. "Do you use your closet?" asked Kate suddenly. She noticed that Alexis had a dresser and a closet. "No, not really. Why?" asked Alexis. "Is it a walk-in closet?" asked Kate. "Yes, Why?" asked Alexis again. "I was thinking that if we remove the doors and the racks, it would make a nice nursery." said Kate. "That is a great idea!" said Alexis as she gave Kate a hug. "Have you thought about what you want to name your daughter?" asked Castle. "I've come up with a few names, but nothing final," said Alexis. "Will you help me made my closet a room for my child?" "Of course," replied Castle. "It's late, let's all get some sleep," said Kate. They all said goodnight to each other and went to sleep in their beds.

"Beep beep beep," went their alarm at 5:00 AM. "Castle will you shut that off," said Kate groggily. "Yeah," he replied turning it off. "It is Saturday, why did it go off?" asked Kate. "I must have accidentally set it," said Castle with a sigh. After a few minutes of looking at the celling, Castle asked, "Are you going to breastfeed the twins when they born?" "I think so. Why?" asked Kate. "Well I was looking it up," started Castle, "and giving your children formula can cause health problems, so doctors recommend breastfeeding. I was also thinking that if you did that, you would have to pump before going to work, so whoever is taking care of them will have milk to give them." "Yeah, I probably would have to," responded Kate. "Well in that case, we will need to start looking at breast pumps," stated Castle. "Okay, anything else we need to get?" asked Kate. "Car seats, wipes, diapers, and burp cloths." answered Castle. "When do you want to go?" "I don't know," replied Kate. "Right now I want to sleep." "Okay," replied Castle. "You can sleep. I am going to go paint the nursery." "Alright. I love you babe," responded Kate. "I love you too," replied Rick.

One week later.....

Castle sent Kate and Alexis to the Hamptons for a day so that he could finish both nurserys. They just returned back and were ready for the big reveals. "Okay, Alexis, we are going to see your baby's room first," said Castle. "Yay!" said Alexis excitedly. As he opened the door, both girls gasped at the sight of beautiful room. The walls were orange with pink butterflys. The crib was in the center of the room in front of the small window with pink silk drapes. There was a pink fuzzy round rug in the middle of the floor and a nice wooden rocking chair in the corner. Finally there with a nice white dresser filled with baby supplies and baby clothes. "Wow. It is so beautiful. Thank you Dad," said Alexis as she gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Are you two ready to see Johanna and Cosmo's room?" asked Castle. "Yes," they both replied with their voices full of anticipation. As Castle opened the door, Kate's eyes watered at the sight of the beautiful room where her children are going to grow up. Half the room was pink and half the room was blue. On the right side (pink), there was a cute little baby crib with pink polka dotted blankets. On the wall above the crib, in big white letters, was the name Johanna. A round pink fuzzy rug was underneath the crib. Around the room were three strips of white, halfway up, giving the room a very modern feel. On the other half of the room the walls were blue and a matching crib with blue striped blankets. Above the crib in large white letters, was the name Cosmo. Underneath the crib was a fuzzy round blue rug matching the pink one on the other side. In the center of the room beneath the window, was a short, long, white dresser filled with everything necessary for a baby. In the corner was a large cosy white rocking chair for Kate to feed and rock the babies in. "It's perfect," said Kate as she pulled Castle in for a long, slow, romantic kiss. "Thank you," said Kate when she pulled away from the kiss. "Always," he replied.
