Chapter 1

Hariette

She's gorgeous without even trying to be one.

Damn, Hariette! You've ran away just to shake that weird feelings off. Naguguilty ka na naman sa ginawa mo sa kanya. But look at her, not a bit affected. Let it remain a secret.

"Hariette, May gagawin ka bukas?" Napatingin ako kay Alliston. I steal one more glance at Candice na busy makipagkwentuhan kila Van at Terry.

"Hmm. Wala pa. Unless Railey would bug me to visit them. Why?"

Napatingin pa sa tinitingnan ko si Alli bago bumalik sakin yung tingin nya.

"Let's go shopping. Got no clothes."

"Sure. Naglayas ka na naman sainyo?"

Tumawa ito kaya napangiti na lang din ako. I really missed Alliston too. Kahit lagi naman itong wala ay madalas naman itong tumawag at magskypecall samin.

"Tumakas is the right term. You know how strict my parents are."

"Tell them you're with me. Do you want me to call them?" I offered.

Madalas naman namin iyong gawin ni Alli. She's using me as her excuse pag lalabas sya ng bansa. She introduced me as her girlfriend to her parents. We've been doing this for so long. Even my parents know that I am dating Alli. Nothing serious but we're not breaking up atleast. My parents aren't saying anything against it. Who wouldn't want Alliston? She's sweet and charming.

"No need. I'm running away for good. They already disowned me."

"Bakit naman? Unless nahuli na nila kayo ng boy t—"

"We broke up."

"What!?"

Kung hindi pa napatingin samin lahat ay hindi pa ako makoconscious. Hininaan ko tuloy yung boses ko.

"My parents found out. They accused me being a home wrecker and a cheater sayo." 

"But you really are." Natawa pa ako ng mahina. Hindi naman mooffend doon si Alli. What we have is unbreakable trust. "So ano sabi ng boyfriend mo? Buti pumayag? Wala syang sinabi sayo na gagawin nya?"

"He broke up with me. His wife is pregnant and can't do us anymore."

Nagsalubong naman ang mga kilay ko sa sinabi nya. Lalo pa at malungkot talaga yung itsura ni Alliston. Talagang nagpaloko talaga ito? Tapos wala man lang itong gagawin?

Damn that guy!

"Akala ko ba hihiwalayan nya na yung wife nya? And that they weren't consuming their marriage? So what was that? Virgin Mary impregnated herself?"

"Tone down your sarcasm, Rie."

"And you just let them!? Goodness ka, Alli! Where's your mind? Let me search it for you." I lowly hissed.

Nagulat ako nang huminto ito maglakad. Nakasunod pa naman samin sina Aria at Leigh. Sa likod ng mga ito si Grant.

"Are you guys okay?" Tanong samin ni Leigh na mataman pa kaming tiningnan ni Alli. "Is Alli crying?"

I caught everyone's eyes staring at her now. Alliston never cries infront of us. But really right now, she's in the verge of bursting into tears.

Pati si Grant halatang nagdududa na. Alam din kasi nito yung relasyon ni Alli sa lalaking kababata nila Aria at Jen. We both discovered it after seeing Alli and that guy in one room. Naked under sheets.

"Uhm, No." Mabilis naman na deny ko. "Alli and I just need to sort out something. Sunod kami after."

Hinawakan ko yung kamay ni Alliston at hinatak palayo sa nagtatakang tingin ng mga kaibigan namin. Ito naman ay talagang nag-uunahan nang tumulo yung mga luha.
