Chapter 19

Hariette

I glance at Candice. Nakayuko lang sya. Maya-maya lang ay tumayo na ito at tahimik na lumabas. Kasabay nito si Alice.

Kagabi lang ay magkasama kami. She's asking if she can go to our practice game today. I said she can do whatever she wants but I really hope she won't come here dahil sa tuwing nagkikita sila ni Alli ay palagi lang din naman nagsisimula ng gulo si Alliston.

I want to protect her but I can't hurt Alli that much. But now, Alli went too far. She's hurting Candice once again and I am hurting at the sight of it.

"I'll stay here."

"Fuck you!"

Galit na sinipa ni Alli yung mga bola na nasa sahig. Nagpapractice na kasi ng toss sina Sam at Leigh kaya nakakalat na sa sahig yung ibang bola.

Alli tossed it up at saka in-spike ng malakas papunta sa direksyon ko. Tumama iyon sa pisngi ko dahil hindi ko naman sinangga. She's mad. She needs to let it out. I'll take all of it if this will make her feel better.

"You're destroying me, Rie! I hate you!"

She did it again, pero this time ay hinarang na ni Grant yung likuran nito bago pa ako matamaan ng bola ulit.

"Stop it, Alli. What the hell is wrong with you!?" Napangiwi pa si Grant nang maramdaman nito yung sakit ng spike ni Alliston na tumama sa likod nito.

Niyakap ako ni Grant palapit sa kanya habang ginagamit yung mga braso nito pangcover sa ulo ko.

I feel safe. Just like before. Grant is always keeping me safe.

Alli just kept in shouting and crying at the same time habang patuloy ito sa ginagawa nito.

"It's okay." Bulong sakin ni Grant.

Why? It's half your fault Grant. You hurt us. You betrayed us. That's why Alli went berserk. We need to help her too.

"I hate you, Rie! I hate you!"

"Alli, Tama na. You're not like this." Awat dito ni Aria.

I am also crying nang sampalin ni Alli si Aria ng malakas.

"You owe it to me, Aria. I've helped you. Kayo ni Corinne! So shut the fuck up! Gago kayo ng kaptid mo!"

Huminga lang ng malalim si Aria. Pinipigilan nito yung sarili na patulan yung topak ni Alliston.

"I know Alli. Stop doing this to you and to Hariette. You should move on and get a life. It doesn't stop nang dahil lang sa walang kwentang lalaking iyon."

"Damn your sister!"

"Ate Louella cares for you kaya nya yun ginawa. Hindi mo pa ba nakikita? No one stopped you, Alli. It's wrong but no one dares to mess up with you!  We all know that guy! Kung alam ko lang na matagal na pala kayong may relasyon ng gagong iyon, I could've stop it too before he drained you that much!"

Si Alliston naman ay tila lalo pang nagalit. Gusto na nitong sapakin si Aria pero bago pa nito iyon magawa ay nahawakan na ni Leigh yung braso nito.

"What's with your violence, Alli. This is not you."

Tinawanan lang ito ni Alli. Pagkatapos ay ito at si Van naman yung tiningnan nito. "If it weren't me, Van will be in the mental institution and you will be visiting her there, Leigh. Thank me. Make me feel your gratitude for once and get the hell out of it."

"I am grateful for everything you've done to us, Alliston. That's why I am stopping you in doing this. Hindi tayo ganito. We are never like this. We are friends right?" Maging si Leigh ay nagpapasensya na lang din dito.
