Raveena turned towards Karan and shifted closer to him. Their eyes locked as Raveena leaned towards him. Karan's gaze shifted to her lips as she closed her eyes. Just as their lips were about to touch, something snapped in him and he stood up abruptly.
"Uh...it's getting late, maybe we should head back..." Karan said while rubbing the back of his neck. Raveena's eyes fluttered open as Karan got up and she looked at him with disappointment clear in her eyes.
"Yes we should..." She replied in a low voice and Karan would not have heard her if not for the complete silence surrounding them.
Neither of them uttered even a single word after that as Karan dropped her to her house. The whole car ride was filled with complete silence and the tension was so thick, it could be cut with a knife.
"See you at school..." Karan said but was ignored and only received a hard slam of his car's door as a reply. He let out a heavy sigh and drove to his home.
As he parked the car in his garage he noticed his dad's car was also there. His mind was in a haze and he did not want to face him right now. So, he did what his legs made him do, he turned around and started walking.
Disha just woke up from a nap she took after having two bowls of chocolate ice-cream. It was 6:30 p.m. and she did not know what to do. Not being in the mood to study, she picked up her laptop and switched it on. She opened instagram and saw that Karan had accepted her follow request. She opened his profile. There were only three photos in his profile.
'Why are guys like this? Or am I weird to upload so many photos?' Disha wondered.
The latest picture was of him sitting in a library. 'Really? He does not click many photos it appears, but in a library?' she thought.
