Author's POV

"Yeah..." said Disha after a minute.

"Why was he staring at you like that?"

"I DONT KNOW!! half of the school stares at me like that. Get used to it." said Disha agitated.

"K man! Chill." said Karan confused.

The rest of the day passed and the school was finally over. Karan walked back home which was about 2 km from the school. As he reached home he saw his mother in the kitchen, so deep in her thoughts that she didn't even notice him entering.

"What happened ma?" asked Karan.

"Hey!!! You're back child. How is your new school? Did you make new friends? Come on get ready for lunch." His mother asked all this in one go.

Ignoring her questions Karan said pissed "Did dad say something again?"

"You don't have to worry about that. Go to your room, get ready for lunch."

"Why don't you fucking say anything to him?"

"Mind your language Karan!"

"You choose to let him treat you like that!"

"Enough! Back to your room. NOW!" said his mother finally losing her patience.

Karan slammed the door and kicked his table knocking all the things on it down. Not bothering to pick them up; he threw himself on his bed. He decided to text Raveena.

K: hey! Wanna go for a coffee or something?

R: yeah. Sure. 5pm?

K: done. At our regular place.

R: :)

He started playing 'TOUCH' by sleeping at last and slowly drifted to sleep. He woke up to his mother shaking him. He rubbed his eyes and noticed that his room was clean and spotless.

"Wake up beta, its evening already. You didn't even have your lunch."

"I'm sorry ma, I overreacted."

"Its okay." Said his mother wrapping him in her arms.

"What is the time?"

"Its 5:30,what should I make for you? Pasta?"

"No ma!! I have to go meet Raveena, I'm already late. I asked her to come at 5."

"But alteast have something, I'm sure Raveena can wait."

"Ma I know you don't like Raveena but isn't it rude that I got a girl waiting for me?"

"Ok then. But have something there and be home by 8."

"yeah yeah." Said Karan and picked up the first T-shirt his eyes fell on, from his closet.

He reached the coffee shop by 6. He saw Raveena sitting on a table. She was wearing an orange tank top and a navy blue jeans which complimented each curve of her perfect body. She had her hair wrapped up in a bun and was looking perfect. Karan stood their staring at her perfection while Raveena saw him and spoke up.

"WTF man! Its 6!! I thought you wouldn't come."

"I'm so sorry Raveena!"

"Is your sorry going to give me my time back?"

"no.."

"Then shut up and sit down. What will you have?"

'YOU' Karan thought. "umm anything would do."

"Chocolate muffin?"

"yeah sure!"

Karan was staring at Raveena while she was ordering a chocolate muffin for Karan and a mocha latte for herself.
