*After a week or so Faith receives an intercom from her dad*
FAITH'S DAD: Faith come downstairs
FAITH: Why?
FAITH'S DAD: Uncle Peter is here to invite us for his son Raphael's wedding
FAITH: So?
FAITH'S DAD: There's no one else downstairs besides me and your mother, also because Mary came along with her kids too
FAITH(sighs): Alright. Coming
*Faith makes herself presentable and walks downstairs to meet the guests. Gradually her eyes land on someone she didn't expected to see. Nathan. During greetings and a couple of handshakes at last she comes across him, Nathan says Hello with a smile and Faith copies. The usual guest treatment goes on, while that.....*
FAITH'S DAD: Faith, take Jess and Kevin to your room upstairs. Show them your collection of toys
FAITH: Ohk. Come on kids tag along
*While she's just about to take them to her room.... *
MARY: One sec, Nathan go along with them you know how naughty my kids are. Keep an eye on them
*Nathan grins and joins them. While moving up the stairs... *
NATHAN(teases): So you still play with toys?
FAITH: No! I have a collection of them aligned on my shelf
*As soon as they enter the kids are enthralled by all the stuff on Faith's huge shelf*
NATHAN: Wow! Nice!
FAITH: Thanks
KEVIN(points to a stuff toy): Can I hold that?
NATHAN: The teddy bear?
FAITH(smiles): That's my favorite by the way
*Kevin nods in excitement. Both Faith and Nathan lift their hand to get the teddy bear, and their hands come in close contact. As soon as they touch both of them look at eachother and Faith immediately withdraws hers... *
NATHAN: Um... May I?
FAITH: Um... Yea... Sure..
*Nathan reaches out his hand and grabs the toy for Kevin*
KEVIN(happily): Its so cute. I'll take this one with me
NATHAN: I'm sorry Kevin you certainly can't, it's not yours
*Kevin starts to cry and gives his puppy eye look*
FAITH: You certainly can. It's alright
NATHAN: Are you sure you want to give away your favorite toy?
FAITH(nods): Positive
*Kevin squeals in happiness*
NATHAN: May I use the bathroom?
*Faith takes him towards the bathroom and after using it, Nathan quietly sneak to stand right behind her only inches apart and the moment she turns around, a small shriek leaves her mouth in surprise*
NATHAN(guffaw): woah woah easy! Hahaha It's me. Got scared?
FAITH: No..... Why would I be?
NATHAN: Haha whatever you say. So you'll come at Raphael's wedding?
FAITH: I don't have a choice
NATHAN: What do you mean? Don't u want to come?
FAITH: My whole family will be there, obviously they wouldnt leave me home alone. Anyway my presence wouldn't make a difference
NATHAN: It will
FAITH: For?
*As she waits for his answer, the intercom rings. She answers it and is informed that his family is about to leave so they are being called*
FAITH: Let's go now, you guys are being called downstairs
NATHAN: Okay, will meet soon
*He offers a handshake before leaving, Faith looks at his hand, she doesn't make a move yet*
NATHAN: Anything wrong? I thought we're friends
*Faith looks back at him then assuringly returns the handshake*
FAITH: We are
*Jess, Kevin and Nathan head downstairs and eventually the guests leave*
author's note- finally their first personal meet. In case you're not clear; Raphael is Nathan's elder brother, Marry is Nathan's elder sister, Jess and Kevin are Mary's kids approx 5 to 6 yrs old, Uncle Parker is Nathan's dad and let me tell u before hand Aunt Anne is Nathan's mother.
