*It's been a week since the wedding. Today's a feast for the new couple at Faith's house so Nathan's whole family is invited (^Faith's and Nathan's dresses for tonight inserted above^) . The doorbell rings...*
FAITH'S MOM: Faith dear open the door the guests must have arrived
*She pulls the door open for the guests and they start entering, he follows. He stops in front of her, her smile fades away and she walks inside leaving him standing on the entrance. The feast goes by with everyone gathered in the front yard while Faith is just going to join them outside. She's using her phone which is why she trips on the last step of the stairs and falls in Nathan's arms rather than on the ground, theirs eyes fix on eachother until he speaks up...*
NATHAN(care): You need to be careful
*She pushes him away balancing herself on the ground.....*
FAITH: I wish I was
*and she walks away. Now she's feeling uncomfortable with him being around....*
MAYA: Woah are you alright?
FAITH: ...... Yea
MAYA: You're nervous because of him right?
FAITH(caught off guard): Is it that obvious?
MAYA(nods): Come on girl! Chill! Ignore him. Oh can you do me a favor?
FAITH: What?
MAYA: I accidentally dropped my earring somewhere and now I can't find another matching earring for it. Sooo can I borrow your silver hoop earrings for tonight... Please??
FAITH: Oh God Maya. Fine I'll lend you mine
*She goes upstairs into her dressing room and takes out her earrings from her jewelry box till she hears the bedroom door closing. She goes into her bedroom saying.....*
FAITH: Seriously Maya? Couldn't you w........
*She stops when she sees Nathan instead of Maya, his eyes full of hope and regret...*
NATHAN: Faith?
FAITH(calmly): Please leave my room
NATHAN: I'm here to talk to you
FAITH: But I don't want to
NATHAN: Look, I'm sorry I know I've made a big mistake, please forgive me.
FAITH: Really? Because a cold hearted person like your never realizes its mistake
*He moves closer. Tears build in her eyes.....*
NATHAN: I have realized Faith which is the reason why I am here to apologize. Can't you just forget everything?
FAITH(dissapointed): What?? Forget everything? You seriously think I can forget everything and move on? Nathan you didn't just give me a small scratch it is a whole damn wound!
NATHAN: Then let me be the one to treat it
FAITH(scoffs): Huh.....Well currently you are just making it worse. It would be better if you stay away from me
*A drop of tear falls from her eyes and she tries to walk past him but he catches her hand....*
NATHAN(desperately): Faith......please!
*She gently and calmly removes his hand from her's and says without making eye contact.....*
FAITH: My heart is now like a broken piece of glass which cannot be mended
*Faith exits the room, while he stands there grief-stricken. The feast ends soon, Nathan returns home in failure*
*Faith is so heart broken that she cries all night*
*On the other hand Nathan is full of sorrow. He's unable to sleep, her words keep him awake, his hope in making things right keeps him awake, his desire to make Faith his keeps him awake. Throughout the night he thinks how can he convince her till he realizes he might need someone's help. So he dials Maya's number.....*
MAYA: Hello?
NATHAN: Maya? It's me, Nathan
MAYA(sighs): Why did you call?
NATHAN: I need your help
MAYA: How can you think I'll help out someone who broke my cousin's heart?
NATHAN: I know I broke her heart and now I'll mend it too
MAYA(annoyed/angry): What's your problem man? She doesn't even want to see your face
NATHAN: Which is why I want your help a little
MAYA: I don't get it, how can I help you?
NATHAN: I love her alot and she loves me too. And how passionately......you have no idea. I want to restore everything that perished between us. Trust me I'll take away all her pain and sorrow. Plus don't you want to see your cousin happy with someone she loves?
MAYA: Hmm of course I want to see her happy again. You must be aware; once bitten, twice shy
NATHAN: I know but a stitch in time saves nine, so please find a way I could meet her once, and I'll take care of the rest
MAYA(exhales): Okay.... Tomorrow evening at 6, Hilton Park, be there!
NATHAN(satisfied): Yea okay! Thank you Maya thanks alot!
