Gone Too Far?

Chap#17

*Exactly after a week Faith's family head off to Nathan's place as today it's Raphael's ubtan ceremony (The mixture of turmeric-gram [chickpea] flour and herbs is combined with water as a beauty treatment. The brides scrub their skin with it in the days prior to their wedding). People are mostly dressed in white. (^Faith's and Nathan's dress pictures are inserted above^). The day begins. As Nathan's mother is preparing ubtan Faith notices the disgusted look on Nathan's face and he heads to his room upstairs*

MAYA(nudges): Hey I can't see Nathan anywhere

FAITH: I think he hates ubtan which is why he's in his room

MAYA(seeing Marcus around): Ugh i don't know why he always gets in my sight

FAITH: Ugh let's get away from here before he spots us

*Whilst everyone is having full on fun downstairs. Faith plans to surprise him. She quietly sneaks into his room and finds him using his phone. She cautiously tries to apply ubtan on him as he's not looking, but right before she could, in a flash Nathan turns around and stops her hand*

NATHAN(eyebrow raised): Donot even think about it!

FAITH: Come on Nathan, it's not an acid! Plus it's your brother's function

NATHAN(in serious tone): So what? Go and apply on him, no one will apply this gross stuff on me!

FAITH: Okay okay fine I won't, will you release my hand first?

*Nathan leaves her hand but Faith being stubborn without noticing his seriousness swiftly applies ubtan on his face giggling playfully, leaving him stunned....*

NATHAN(through gritted teeth): WTH!I thought I made myself clear!!

*Faith's now frightened and realises she shouldn't have done this, her playful smile drops as he starts advancing towards her and she starts to step back*

FAITH(scared): I... I'm...really sorry... Nathan...I didn't knew... You hated it that much... Or else I.......

*By now she's pinned by the wall, Nathan closing up on her. He could see the fear and regret in her eyes, and how she just turned totally down-hearted from being too jolly a minute ago, the look on her face melts away his anger. So he touches the ubtan on his cheek and looks at it first and then towards Faith*

FAITH(still scared): I'm very sorry Nat...

*She pauses when Nathan brings his fingers towards her face and shuts her eyes tightly. All he does is applies that ubtan on her nose. At this, Faith opens her eyes with surprise because this was very unexpected of him. A huge grin appears on his face seeing her reaction, she starts to laugh in amusement too and escapes from there leaving behind Nathan smiling. She heads downstairs happily until she bumps into someone..... *
