*One day later, it's the Henna/Mehndi ceremony {it is tradition to have a henna party before the wedding. During a henna party, artists use a paste made from dried henna leaves to paint intricate patterns on the hands of the bridal party. The ritual also includes to apply little bit of Henna from ur finger tip to a palm-sized leaf placed on the bride and groom's hands}. Before reaching the banquet hall Faith's family first heads to Nathan's.(^Faith's and Nathan's dresses for the night are inserted above^)*
NATHAN'S MOM: Ok now children help carrying all the goods and baskets of henna to the car please
*Although few of the cousins are helping, Faith also offers to help. As she holds one of the Henna plates she sees that the candle on it is about to fall from its place. She hurriedly tries to stick it back to its place but burns her hand a little during the process*
FAITH(painfully): Ow...
*Marcus who was just passing by finds her in pain and rushes over and gently holds her hand in order to look at the burn*
MARCUS: Are you okay? Does it hurt?
FAITH: Yea I'm okay. A little, not much
*Nathan enters in the lounge and sees Marcus holding her hand*
NATHAN(fake coughs): We've placed all the goods in the car, now we're about to leave...
*Faith immediately pulls aways her hand and gets seated in the car, so does everyone else. Upon reaching their destination, Nathan continues to work on his plan....*
NATHAN: Hey Faith just come over here for a minute
*She goes and finds two people standing next to him*
NATHAN: Meet my friends Mike and Molly
MIKE: Hi
MOLLY: Hi
FAITH: Hi, nice to meet you
NATHAN'S MOM: Nathan get over here the cermony rituals began a while ago and now only you're left
*Everyone heads towards the head towards the stage and Nathan gets him seated beside Raphael to perform the ritual*
NATHAN'S DAD: Wait a minute, hold on, if anyone else is left then come forth and sit on the other side
*He looks around and see Faith standing*
NATHAN'S DAD: Faith dear! You aren't done right? Go ahead
*Her parents nod so she goes and gets herself seated at the other side. Nathan goes first and she looks at him while he does it with so much love and consideration. After him Faith performs and he looks at her while she does it so happily. As soon as they are done...*
PHOTOGRAPHER: Please smile into the camera
*And a picture is taken. After that Nathan talks to Mike about his next step which is to make Faith jelaous of Molly. When everyone's sitting together.....*
NATHAN(offering his hand): Let's dance Molly
MOLLY(accepting): Sure
*Faith watches them in resentment as they start to dance happily standing closely *
MARCUS(offering his hand): Would you like to dance?
FAITH(after thinking about it): Sure
*They also join them and start to dance. Nathan on the other hand did not expected her to dance with Marcus. Faith showsoff her beautiful dancing, her appealing moves cause both Marcus and Nathan to admire her while she dances carefree, they also dance along with her, therefore Molly takes a side. Everyone rejoices and then soon, it ends....*
author's note- Faith might have gotten slightly jealous of Molly but her charisma was stronger. So technically Nathan's plan did not work. During the dance imagine Marcus and Nathan competing to stay at her side🤭Guys remember to vote!✌🏻❤️
