*On weekend*
FAITH'S MOM: Accompany me to the mall today, there's an exhibition
FAITH: I have nothing else to do today so yea okay why not
*After noon Faith along with her mother drive to the mall. She unexpectedly spots Nathan there along with her mother in an outlet, she did not want to face him today soo.... *
FAITH: Uh.. Mom! Not this shop, let's go to another one
FAITH'S MOM: But this is the shop I wanted to visit, so come in
*As they enter through the glass door Nathan's and Faith's mom meet eachother by surprise and they start talking about the exhibition. Faith stands there awkwardly while Nathan on the other hand thinks to himself...*
'what a coincidence! I'm not going to miss this chance today, let's work on it'
FAITH: Mom? I'm gonna go check out some outlets on the 2nd floor ok? You continue please
*Her mother permits so she instantly exits and proceed down the elevator to the 2nd floor. Nathan without wasting his time follows by making an excuse to his mother that he needs to go check on his car*
FAITH(to herself): Is he following me??
*She starts walking briskly and enter some random outlet and acts af if she's actually here to buy something, while all she does is shove aside the dresses on the stand. Nathan enters too and notices her acting weird*
NATHAN(smirks/teases): Looks like you've never actually shopped alone before
FAITH(cautiously): It's not like that....
*Faith exits, so does Nathan. While they're walking, Nathan makes his first move. He hands her a chit*
NATHAN: Here you go
FAITH: What's this?
NATHAN: My number, I think chatting on whatsapp will be better than on instagram
FAITH: Umm... I don't need....
*Nathan cuts her off by handing it over to her*
SAMANTHA: Faith?? Is that you?
*They both turn around to see Samantha(Faith's cousin) standing behind them, Faith is unsure whether she has seen him handing over her the chit or not, so she swiftly hides the chit behind her back and moves away from Nathan. Faith advances towards Samantha and gives a hug*
FAITH: Samantha!! You must be here for the exhibition too right?
SAMANTHA: Correct! Just because of your aunt, you know how much she likes shopping
*Samantha does notice Nathan's presence but chooses to ignore. In fact she did not see anything that happened between Nathan and Faith*
SAMANTHA: Hey Faith, there's an ice-cream parlor on the 1st floor. Let's go
*Faith and Samantha head towards the ice-cream parlor. Nathan quietly follows them from a distance. Suddenly Samantha's phone rings and they stop so she could answer it. Nathan swiftly hides behind a pillar*
SAMANTHA: Uh...I'm sorry Faith, mom's calling me to help her pick a few dresses. Why don't you come along?
FAITH: Okay no problem
NATHAN(to himself): No way! I can't let her leave. I must take the advantage of us being here alone. I must do something....
*As Faith is following Samantha, she is pulled aside towards the pillar by none other than Nathan*
NATHAN: Where to?
FAITH: Back to my mom. Why?
NATHAN: You seriously want to go up there? Back into the annoying crowd?
FAITH(pondering): Umm... I don't know....
NATHAN: Decide for yourself fast, Samantha's leaving
FAITH: Uh.... Ok!
*She calls out on Samantha and tells her that she doesn't want to come along and will be heading towards the food court and to inform her mother about it too. Samantha nods and leaves. She turns back at Nathan*
FAITH: Sooo?? Now what?
NATHAN(enthusiastically): Let's go
*He grabs her hand by which Faith is just startled. They stop by the ice-cream parlor. Faith orders for chocolate and Nathan for blueberry flavor*
NATHAN: Let me pay
FAITH: No need to. I can pay for myself
NATHAN: Ohk as you say. Let's sit somewhere
*They go and sit on a table*
NATHAN: Blueberry is the best! Have you ever tried?
FAITH(shakes her head): No
NATHAN: Not a problem. Try it now
*Upon saying this he instantly raises a spoonful of blueberry ice-cream from his cup and brings it towards her mouth. She hesitates but then he smiles softly and assuringly. She opens her mouth he feeds her from his hand*
FAITH: It's nice... Thanks
NATHAN(smiles): Told ya!
*Soon after they finish*
FAITH: I think we should better get going
NATHAN: Right
*They return back to their respective mothers and then leave the place*
