Donnie finally agreed to stop looking for canisters of mutagen and have a day in of relaxation.
We sat on my couch, well- he did. I was on his lap. He wrapped his arms around me while watching the cartoon that had popped up since I didn't have any movies and I forgot that I cancelled my subscription with every online streaming site. So we reverted to the television and the boring channels we had on cable.

I could sense Donnie wasn't that interested into the cartoons. I flipped around but he didn't seem to care. Immediately I leaned up and kissed him. For a green skinned turtle, he blushed immensely.
I suddenly felt nervous. "I'm so sorry if that was weird or awkward I just-"

"Why would it be awkward? You just kissed me...that's not awkward at all," he stuttered.
Laughing lightly at his slight shock, I kissed him again and to which he added a bit more pressure.
Pulling away, I smile and stay comfortable in his arms. With a small sigh I feel the fatigue taking over my senses. He kissed my head and I fell asleep in his arms. "Goodnight, love."
