"I did not do it!"
Y/n got angered and stomp her foot. Her parents had stern looks on their face, not believing a word she's saying. Y/n pointed at the golden retriever –buddy– beside her.
"He did it," she told them. She wasn't lying. She was sitting down peacefully with her dolls until a huge crash was heard throughout the house. She ran down the hall and found a broken vase on the floor. She picked up the biggest piece, her mouth agape. She saw Buddy sitting beside the incident.
When she was about to scold him, her parents came in and started to blame her for it. She tried convincing them for fifteen minutes straight now, but she couldn't change their minds.
They always had a strict attitude.
"Now, now, Y/n. What did we say about lying?" Her mother kneeled down to her height. Her mother had a concern face, waiting for her answer.
Y/n frowned and opened her mouth in protest.
"B-but I did not!"
"Y/n! What did we say?" She looked at her strictly. Y/n rolled her eyes and looked down.
"Lying is bad for the mind as much for the mouth. Nothing good comes out of lying," she mumbled loud enough for her mom to hear. M/n nodded.
"Yes, so why are you lying to us? You are never dishonest," D/n kneeled down to Y/n's height as well. Y/n looked up to her parents disappointed faces. She wasn't saddened of their looks but angry. She glared at them both.
"I am not being dishonest. Why can't you guys believe me?" She whined. She started to cry of the stress that took over. She rarely felt stressed for a nine year old, when she did she cried an ocean.
"Fine. I a-am running away," she threatened. They both laughed and looked at each other.
"Sure Y/n," D/n rolled his eyes, nevertheless still laughed at her threat. They walked away to their workroom to work on their latest project. Y/n stomped her foot in anger and went towards her room to collect her belongings. When she passed by the workroom, her parents were laughing. They sounded so happy without Y/n. The thought of that made her upset.
She held back some of her tears and went to the kitchen. She grabbed some food that would last her about a few days. She doesn't eat much anyways, so it might last longer than she thought. She put it all in her backpack.
She walked towards the door angrily and sad. She knew she would miss everything here. Everything but her parents.
She left the house without hesitation. It was a warm quiet night. She was glad it was summer. She wasn't glad that it was night. She hated the dark for years. She was cautious of everything around her. She didn't notice the guy following her every move. She didn't sense it and look back, she just kept her head forward the whole time.
When the guy thought it was the right time, he pounced, grabbed her and dragged her to an alleyway.
"Let me go!" She shouted. The guy smiled creepily, he covered her mouth with his hand.
"What do you want?!"
"What's in the bag?" He asked curiously. Her eyes widen.
"Nofing uh meed," She mumbled in his hand. When he removed it she spit in the floor, disgusted by his hand.
"Nothing you need," she spat. He got angered and reached for her bag. She screamed on top of her lungs. Making him quickly covering her mouth again. This time he didn't take it off. Making her pass out of air. The guy smiled in triumph and opened the first zipper, before he can see what was inside something called out to him.
