Chapter 6

Killua and I walked to Gon and plopped down on either side of him. We were now on the boat towards Zevil Island for the Fourth Phase.

"Hey. So, uh, who did you get?" Killua asked the two of us casually.

"What did you draw?" Gon answered the question with another.

"It's a secret," Killua replied. I laughed and the two joined in. "Don't worry. You're not my target,"

"That's good; 'cause you're not mine either."

"And neither of you is mine," I smiled.

"You wanna show our numbers at the same time?" The assassin suggested.

"Okay," Gon said. I nodded.

"Ready and..." The three of us showed our numbers together. Killua got #199, Gon got Hisoka while I got #198.

Killua gasped when he saw Gon's card. "Number 44 is... Really? You've got seriously bad luck,"

"You sure do, Gon. I can help get it for you if you'd like. I figured some things out about him during the time we spent together," I offered, already knowing he'd refuse.

"No, but thank you, though. So, do you know who your targets are?" 

"I'm not sure, I thought maybe you knew. If I'd just been smart about it, I would've just memorized everybody's numbers. Once he explained it, that's when I started paying attention. But everyone had taken off their badges already," Killua said lazily.

"We both got one of the three brothers," I shrugged.

"Huh, really? Thank you; saved me the effort of trying to find out," he smirked then noticed that Gon, who had a glint of excitement and nervousness in his eyes, was shaking. "Gon,"

"Oh, what's up?"

"Are you happy or scared right now? Which one is it?"

"Kinda both, I guess. If I had to fight Hisoka one on one, I wouldn't stand a chance against him. But if all I have to do is steal his badge... I don't know, I think I might actually have a real shot."

"Yeah,"

"The way it is now, at least I have a chance. And to be honest, it does scare me a little bit. But I think it's worth it!" Gon said in determination. 

I grinned at him, "I'm certain you'll be able to do it," 

Killua stood up with a smile of his own. "Well, let's do our best. Don't die, okay?"

"Yeah! Same to you," Gon gave him a thumbs up.

"Be careful guys," I waved walking away.

~Time Skip~

The boat finally arrived at the Island. Hisoka disembarked the boat.

"Guess it's my turn now. See you two later!" I exited the boat two minutes after the clown and walked into the forest.

First things first, I need to find something to eat. I wandered around aimlessly until I stumbled upon a tree that had some kind of blue fruits. I plucked one off and took a bite, devouring its amazing taste. 

After taking some more of the fruits, I continued walking around until I felt six people's presences closing in on me.

It was the next day that I arrived at a clearing and the six applicants came out of the trees. Two were holding daggers, three had machetes and on had a katana. 

"Hey, little girl! Give us your tag and we won't hurt you," the one with the katana said. 

"Hmm... no, thank you." I said, my sword now in my hand. Two of the ones holding machetes came at me. I quickly turned my sword around and used the hilt the knock the idiots out. "Who wants to come next?"
