I walked alongside Gon and Killua after Gon cleaned himself up. He had just fought Hisoka and lost. I sighed, they were going to leave Heaven's Arena now that Gon has returned the badge to the psychotic clown.
And I wasn't going with them. I decided to leave them until September first, having accepted the fact that I am staying in this world, I had decided to do my own thing for a little while. But that still didn't stop them from trying to convince me to go with them to Whale Island, leading to where we are now.
"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Gon asked for the sixth time.
"Gon, I told you I want to do my own thing for the next month or so... and I still have to continue training Mitsuba. We just started with her Nen," I sighed, rubbing my temples. Honestly, this kid is gonna be the death of me; he is way too stubborn for his own good.
"Alright then, but you better be careful, we don't need you getting killed," Killua teased. I sent him a playful glare. He had started acting like an older brother, even though I am technically older than him. "Let's go, Gon."
"But--" Killua practically dragged him away, waving at me over his shoulder. I smiled softly, watching their figures until they became too far away to see before turning and heading back to the Heaven's Arena.
I was now alone in a foreign world, and instead of being nervous or scared about it; I was excited.
I entered the elevator and pressed my button, 243, listening to the horrible music they decided to play. After I heard a ding, I opened my eyes and walked out.
I stopped in front of my door and whirled around. "What do you want?"
"Why so mean? I just wanted to ask if you wanted to have another fight,"
"Not anytime soon, no." I answered Hisoka, looking at my nails. "Can you leave me alone now? I'm not in the mood to talk to a psycho,"
"How about I fight your friend? You know, blonde, about sixteen--"
"We both know you don't want to fight her, Hisoka, so leave me alone unless you want me to tear out your liver and feed it to the squirrels." I sent him a sarcastic smile then went into my room, locking the door behind me.

Mitsuba was in front of me, displaying her Ten, and I couldn't help but be impressed. It hadn't been three weeks since her aura nodes opened, but she was doing great. My guess was that she would be either a manipulator or a specialist.
She stopped her Ten and used Zetsu. She, much like myself, preferred to always be on Zetsu to avoid losing unnecessary energy, which also seemed to help her improve.
"So, what do you think?" She asked, looking at me with a smile.
I smiled right back at her, "You're doing a great job. Honestly, consider me impressed. By the way, I think you should start participating in fights here in the Tower."
"You really think so?"
"How else would you learn how to fight for real. And only fighting with me will soon stop being of help,"
She hummed before walking towards the door with me right behind her. She went to register in the Arena while I waited for her near the entrance. As soon as she came back beside me, I lead the way towards a good café nearby. "Come on, my treat." I ordered a peanut butter blast with whipped cream on the bottom and she looked at me weirdly. "What? It's good!"
"If you say so. I'll have a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino," Mitsuba said to the waitress while a brief look of pain passed my face before disappearing, but it didn't go unnoticed. "What is it?"
"Oh--uh nothing," She raised an eyebrow, looking unconvinced. "It used to be my brother's favorite before, you know..."
"I would say 'I'm sorry', but I know that it doesn't make things better. If you need to talk to anyone about it, you can always come to me."
Apparently, her parents had died two years ago in a car crash. She told me about it after I told her about me last night. We sat in silence as we waited for our drinks to arrive.
This world was so much more fun than the real one, I actually managed to make a few amazing friends here as opposed to the fake ones back home. The fun part would soon come to an end, though, because of everything that will happen in York New; the Spiders, Gon and Killua getting captured...twice. Sure, on the TV, I loved and related to the members of the Troupe, but this is real life now; and they all have the ability to kill me if they wanted to.
My life would be in real danger, and the problem in this is that I probably won't care if I die.
~Time Skip~
One month. That's the amount of time it took my blonde friend to reach the 200th Floor. I was most definitely proud of her. September first is in one weeks, and I want to be there a bit earlier, that's why I'd be tonight at around nine.
Since we don't receive any money one the 200th floor, I travelled around, collecting bounties with Mitsuba. It gave us good cash and helped her get some more training. Because today was my last day here, we decided to go shopping, something I didn't do that often. I ended up buying a good outfit; a blood-red skinny t-shirt, ripped black jeans, black leather boots and a leather jacket. Mitsuba, however, was a different story. That girl loved shopping, so much so that when we exited the mall, she was holding at least five bags.
On our way back to the Arena, which I stopped fighting in some time ago, we passed a weapon's shop, so I decided to check it out. Might as well get Mitsu a weapon she could use. She chose a black onyx dagger.
We spent the rest of the day sparring and training before I decided to let her do the water divination. As it turns out, my guess was correct-- she was a Manipulator. I wrote down a list of instructions for the more advanced Nen techniques and my phone number in a notebook before handing it to her.
"I'll miss you. Make sure you keep training your Nen and maybe start thinking of an ability that would suit you, alright?"
"I'll miss you, too. Thanks for everything, Kat, and I glad that I met you. Keep me updated on what's happening with you?"
"Of course. Call me if you need anything... And, please, don't come to York New, it'll be dangerous there around the time of the auction."
"Shouldn't I be telling you that? I am older than you, after all."
"Technically, we're the same age...and I'm stronger."
We looked at each other for a second before laughing. She pulled me in for a hug, I hesitated before wrapping my arms around her. "Be careful,"
"Always am. See you, Mitsu!"
I waved at her as I walked down the street to the train station, lost in thought about what is to come. At least it'll be fun and interesting in York New City.
A/N: This was a filler chapter, but a chapter nonetheless. I finished my exams on Thursday, so I'll probably be updating more often, not sure. Anyways, hope you liked it!
