"Here we are. This is the servants' quarters. It's getting pretty late; so you can stay here tonight." Zebero opened the door with his one hand and smiled. "Please. Come on it,"
We nodded and walked inside. I looked around the room, which looked pretty clean that it reached Levi's standards -- and yes, I used to be an Attack on Titan fan before I was somehow transported here.
"Hello! Anybody home?" Zebero called, still standing by the door.
A man with purplish hair walked down the stairs with a cigarette in his mouth. "Guests, huh? Don't see that everyday,"
"This is Sequant. He works here with me at the estate."
I nodded in acknowledgment at the man while Gon greeted him with a "Good evening!"
Sequant grunted. "Zebero doesn't take a liking to just anybody; so you must be special. Make yourselves at home... though in this house, it's easier said than done."

We were now sitting at a wooden table with cups of tea in front of us.
"You want to see young master Killua?" Sequant, who was leaning against the wall, laughed. "Now, that's pretty funny."
"Actually, we're dead serious." Leorio claimed, raising a hand in the air.
"Then let me give you some advice. Give up now, and go home."
"What did you say?" The man in glasses growled, turning to fully face the other one.
I rolled my eyes and picked up my cup, which was relatively heavy, but nothing compared to the Testing Gates.
"Zebero told you about the Testing Gate, right? If you wanna know what this place is like, that's an example."
"It won't be easy, we get that, but still, I'm not leaving yet." Gon chimed in, determination lacing his voice. "Not until I see Killua!"
"What he said," I pointed towards my spiky-haired friend. "Besides, I already opened the Testing Gate-- and if I can do it, so can they."
"Before, when he was in trouble, I wasn't there for him like I should have been." Gon looked down, guiltily. "If I was-- If i'd just been there, I know--"
"You couldn't have done anything, Gon. I couldn't stop him, because he was being controlled. You'll understand more later, trust me." I muttered, looking up with cold eyes. I shouldn't have let Illumi do what he did, I could've at least told Killua about his brother... yet I didn't; I let everything happen the way it did in the anime. I didn't know if I did the right thing or not, but it was probably better letting things go with the original flow.
Kurapika, Leorio and Gon looked at me in confusion but didn't push me to explain when they saw the cold expression on my face-- the expression I used to wear every single day before the incident with my 'mom'.
Zebero's and Sequant's eyes widened for a fraction of a second before they recomposed themselves.
"I'll get to bed. I'm tired," I got up and walked upstairs into on of the spare bedrooms were my backpack sat on the bed, taking deep breaths. I changed out of my clothes into sleepwear and laid down.
For some reason, my thoughts drifted to the past-- specifically, that one time when I went to the city hall and around town, asking about the Pierce family or my real parents.
Everyone said that they'd never heard the name before, even the city records didn't have anything about my family. It had confused the hell out of me, it still does. I was like the name Pierce didn't even exist.
