I finally said no more
So I swallowed an acorn
In my swamp of a body
Thrust up a many-branched tree
Wrenched from my hollow
My eyes pressed dark blue
Beneath the foot of the tree
Bark swirling with my finger prints
Each good word I spoke
A rich green leaf
What I hoped, what I wished
Climbed furthest to the sun
Each branch a special love
Across pages, across echoes
Black heart ordure watered
By vicious, frustrated tears
And pathetic blood shed
During the war in the mirror
Fertile enough for the earth's debt
My slack face back on the root's tip.@nepion_boreas17
