Jupiter's Crucifix

There is no light in the world
I breathe out dirt and darkness
Falls from my mouth, and black
Are my eyes, burned hollow
As an oak threaded with lightning
That outline left dim in the sky
Where light used to sit, silent
Chaos like the Genesis waters
For God placed back the parts
That were sea and were sky
All labours spinning unwinding to
The cold womb, now outstretched
Before the black sun
Aten rays reaching through my atoms
Chained to the base of seething heat
There is no light
I cry for God to pass up from the deep
Repurpose his old love
And rip me apart.
