Humankind ended in the protoplasm of my birth
I grasp with naked futility
For the pieces of the stars
Scattered over salted earth
I am my own dripping scream
Begging for a purifying cataclysm
A holy flooding orgasm
Shattering wide the ravaged plains
Wiped smooth, sterilising blast
Come sew up the chasm
Render down the music of Shakespeare
The colours of Beethoven, the words of Picasso
To a single hydrogen atom
Inscribe my name in Spandau Prison
Burn me by a Polish forest
Where a flower of love will grow in the silence
Kissing the barbed wire clutching the stem
The petals fall with the heaviness of blood
And I am left with a bare stalk
A miniature gravestone in the sunlight
Behind me rumbles the addict of the past
Needling the future to blur the present
The fug that still scratches my eye
It ended with me and yet
I will never end.@nepion_boreas17
