[Sera's POV]
"You want to go public about this?" Namjoon responded, surprised.
"Yes. I want to come clean to the people," Jimin replied.
We were in the conference room, and Jimin had just informed Namjoon about our press conference.
"Are you sure about this? You know this could go terribly wrong-"
"And so could everything else we do. I mean, our honeymoon ended up being a disaster, no? The only thing we can do is be prepared," Jimin interrupted before Namjoon could worry us any further.
Thinking about exposing what Jimin truly was to the entire country- no- the whole world was beyond nerve wracking.
I was in awe of how calm Jimin appeared.
Then again, he was a pro at hiding his true feeling and emotions.
I was just as good as hiding my tears as him.
Namjoon just sighed, lowering his head in a defeated motion. Pieces of his unkempt hair dangled on his forehead. "Fine. We'll have it set up for this afternoon."
"Fantastic."

Well, this was it.
Press conference time.
Even though I wouldn't be saying anything, I would be standing on the stage with Jimin.
It was the least I could do to somewhat show him support.
Though I didn't know how much support I could offer him. It seemed like it was the other way around.
I rubbed my elbows in anxiety, hoping my bare skin would absorb the sweat profusing from my pores.
"Hey," I heard a voice behind me. I turned around to see who it was.
"Jae?!" I exclaimed in absolute shock.
What on earth was my brother doing here?
"That's me," he said with a light smile.
"I- Wow," I was at a loss for words.
Jae rarely ever made trips outside of the castle. His lack of social skills was something he was always conscious about, so he chose to avoid socializing at all.
The only person he was ever comfortable with, was me.
"Aren't you happy to see me?"
"Of course. Come here." I ran up to him and wrapped him in a hug.
I hadn't seen my brother in so long. It really did amplifiy how much time I had been away from home.
How much time I had been married.
"I heard about everything that's been happening," he said, pulling away from the hug. "I was worried."
I smiled. "I'm okay," I said as convincingly as possible.
It's not like anything would be okay ever again.
Not when you're in charge of an entire country.
Especially one that has their eye on your husband.
"Okay well, if you ever need anything. You've got me," he said, patting my arm.
I grinned even wider.
This morning started out terrible, but my brother's surprise visit really gave me a newfound courage.
