[Jimin's POV]

A KING ISN'T MADE, IT'S BORN. 

I tapped my fingers on my knee.  

"We also checked the rest of the island and found active explosives at nearly every sight you were supposed to visit that evening," Namjoon said. A map of the island flashed on the screen with various Xs on buildings. "They were C-4 bombs, all of which are being safely removed as we speak. The gun used was an MK16 SCAR. These can't be bought in Islac." A picture of the said weapon appeared on the screen. "However, based on years of research on The Hooligans, they don't have nearly enough money to buy such weapons. Someone with a lot of money is financing them. We believe this could be something bigger than just a protest group." 

"Where is my brother?" I interrupted.

Everyone was surprised when I brought him up. 

I never talked about him. 

"Prince Luke? He's been detained again," Namjoon said. "He had another episode."

Episode. 

Luke wasn't mentally unstable.

But it's what we called his sudden urge to kill.

It was better than 'killing spree.'

"Since when was he detained?" I questioned. 

"Since this evening. After the party," he responded.

Luke could have something to do with it. He had money. He had motive. But how would he have done it? 

"Is there something wrong?" Namjoon asked. 

I shook my head.

"It's nothing. Please, continue."

"That's all the intel we have so far," Namjoon said.

I groaned. 

"Okay. Focus on finding the person who's financing them and make a list of all the nations that have access to that type of gun. Also, bring in the gunman and see what you can get out of him," I said. Namjoon exchanged a look with Seokjin, who was an investigator they hired for the case. 

"Um, he's dead... sir," Seokjin answered bluntly. "He uh, committed suicide..."

Goddammit. 

"Okay, well just try and find some leads. You should also check who's seen Hoseok's itinerary. If they had explosives at every location, they'd have had to see it." 

"Yes sir."

"Oh and look into who my brother's been in contact for the past few days," I mentioned. 

Seokjin's eyebrow raised. "You want me to investigate prince Luke?" 

I nodded. "That's right."

Seokjin waited for me to elaborate, but when he saw that I wasn't going to, he said, "Alright. I will go find some leads." With a bow, he left the room. 

"Right, well, as your Chief of Security, I would advise postponing the coronation," Namjoon suggested. 

The whole room halted. 

"No," was all I said. 

"Jimin-"

"If we postpone something so big just because of this tiny problem-"

"It's not tiny-"

"This tiny problem, then I will seem weak. This is exactly what they want. They don't want me to become king. I won't give them what they're after," I finished.
