As Edmond enveloped her lips with his, he felt like he had found heaven on earth in that one moment. As she placed her soft hands on the side of his face he forgot the world. He was falling away into serenity. For the prince had never gotten so lost in a simple kiss before. Edmond felt something between them explode. His hands couldn't bring her close enough to taste her. Edmond quickly realized he was starving . It is true that the prince had gone much farther than a kiss... but it never felt like this, where it now burns him alive. He then realized he was waiting his whole life for this special person, for this mermaid.

At the same time Kai felt storms rise beneath her skin. Like she was the ocean and Edmond was her moon., pulling and pushing her heart. She even felt what was called "a spark" according to the chatty nurses. Kai felt safe, which was was a foriegn feeling to her, but she especially enjoyed it now. It may have been hours or minutes but Kai didn't care. She was fascinated how the shape her lips fit his and together they moved in sync. He stole the breath she was holding. Kai couldn't help but smile at his actions.

The moment ended. They looked at eachother adoringly. Another sudden, suddle silence fell upon them.

So this was chaos, when a demon falls in love with an angel.

"I just reliezed. That was your first kiss wasn't it?" He teased.

"Yes, yes it was. And?"

Wait Kai thought that's what that was called? Kiss? WelI can see why ladies like him, his kiss is like sweet nectar... addicting. In the most perfectly, infernal way.

"And...I thought it was sloppy. We should try agian." Edmond replied sarcastically in a smoky tone.

Before Kai could say another word Edmond's lips silenced her. But this kiss was much more... quick, agressive. The prince waited a moment for her to respond. But she didn't.

Why isn't she resonding to my affection? Perhaps a little charm will make make her relax. Edmond thought

Yes. He didn't just want her any more.

He pulled away from her suddenly and marveled "You are such a beautiful, goddess."

Kai was about to reply but Edmond's lips already crashed against hers.

He needed her.

She felt her tail curl around Edmond's waist involuntarily, like a serpant. She tugged on his hair trying to pull him off her.

Much better... the prince thought.

Wait does he like this?... Kai wondered, concerned.

Kai could tell his pharamone levels were definitely much higher becuase of his quickly increasing body temperature. Their hearts were beating faster. She couldn't think, and couldn't tell how long it had been or continue to keep count of his actions. Edmond remembered the mental map he made of her. His hands carefully examined every crevasse on her back and waist. She tried pulling away again, but he just pulled her closer. He moaned.

Oh...oh my... He likes this?! Surely such lustrous thoughts and actions were... inproper ...certainly sinful Kai thought.

This was not the same kiss from a moment ago.

Her eyes were open this time. Then, painfully slowly, Edmonded kissed her forehead and gradually moved to her cheek. Kai tried talking to him in between kisses as his hands slipped lower.
