Youyou didn't get a response from pretty stranger until you were at practice.

"[L/N]-chan, isn't that your phone?" Harukaze questioned. You hummed in acknowledgment before nodding at Sakiyama, tossing the ball backwards over your head. With a running leap, she spiked the ball over the net. It slammed down against the floor of the court.

"Haru-chan's saying that you should get it... it's been ringing for some time and it's distracting!" Sakiyama complained.

"It's ringing?!" you perked right up and ran toward the side of the hall where your bags were. You snatched up your phone and clicked the green answer button.

"Hello?!" you exclaimed, out of breath from the exercise you had been doing, as well as the intense want to know who was texting you anonymously.

There was quiet chatter in the background that you couldn't comprehend, and then a loud 'shh!' to shut them up. The phone hung up abruptly.

"Who was it?!" Tsubasa called. "your secret lover?"
"Yes!" you said, now mildly frustrated. "ughh... you, keep on practicing!"

"Shouldn't you be practicing, [L/N]-senpai?" the second-year backup setter asked.
"I have important business I need to sort out. Set for Harukaze-chan, now." you ordered, before opening pretty stranger's contact.

You admitted, it wasn't nice when you had to put on your authoritative voice towards the rest of your team (especially your underclassman), and this really wasn't the most important of matters in the world. However, to you, it took number one priority.
