"I only asked to make sure." Oikawa said to himself in the mirror. "I knew she was afraid of me... I knew she hated me..."

He splashed cold water in his face and then shook his head like a cat with a flea in its ear.

"There's only one thing I can do now..." he murmured, tugging his phone from his pocket and then opened safari.

How To Get A Girl To Like You

He tapped on the WikiHow link and then began to read through.

Getting a girl to like you can be difficult, but there are things you can do to help get them interested. Caring about your appearance and personality can help her notice you so you're able to introduce yourself. If you've already reached out to the girl, being a good friend to her can help develop your feelings for one another and help you learn more about each other. After you become friends, reaching out and telling her how you feel could lead to a relationship!

He scrolled through the first method: getting her to notice you. He was already aware that [L/N] had completely given up on him at this point, thought he was a lost cause, but he was going to turn that around for himself.

"Step one, practice good personal hygiene? What does WikiHow think I am, a pig?!" he exclaimed in an offended manner, quickly scrolling to the next step.

"Step two, find an interesting hobby and be passionate about it." he glanced down at his knee brace. "how passionate?"

He chuckled at his own stupid joke to himself and read through it. He knew both him and [L/N] had volleyball in common, both being setters and captains.

Step three was: act confident around her to make her more interested. Thinking back to the conversation he'd heard in the gym, he realised that wouldn't help him, since the idea of fangirls had made [L/N] shy away.

Tip: it's okay if you fail at some things. Failure is bound to happen, so continue working past it so you can stay confident about other things.

He smiled slightly at the little green box.
"Did Iwa-chan write this especially for me? How thoughtful." he wondered aloud. He skipped over step four, since being polite and charming wouldn't get him anywhere with her, nor would step five.

Step six wouldn't be any help either, so he skipped to method two of getting a girl to like you: being her friend.

'I swear, if I have to search up how to be friends with a girl too...' he glared at his screen.

Step one: talk about something that you two have in common.

Alright, he could do that! Volleyball, setting, being a captain... um, what else does [L/N] do? Oikawa realised he had no clue what her hobbies were, aside from volleyball. He would have to ask Sakiyama, since she was the vice captain of the volleyball team.

Step two: ask the girl questions about herself so you get to know her better.

Alrighr, scratch asking Sakiyama. He could ask [L/N] herself. He smiled that the picture alongside the caption was a black-haired girl receiving a volleyball.

Step three: tell jokes and be funny to show your sense of humour.

'I can just got to makki-chan and mattsun-chan if I need help with jokes. They're good at that!' Oikawa thought, making himself comfortable on the lid of the toilet since his knee was starting to ache from being stationery for so long.
