Shuichi's hand gripped on the familiar hospital door, walking in with purple, pink, and red roses in a bouquet together. He smiled and waved at the receptionist whom he was now quite familiar with now.
He walked into the room which he was also rather familiar with. He replaced an old bouquet with the new one as he sat down at Kokichi's side.
Kokichi had been in a coma for three months now, and Shuichi visited him every day that he could. There was one specific point in time which he was unable to after he tried to commit suicide. Again.
Shuichi gripped at his soulmate's hand gently, smiling softly. "Hey, Kokichi... how are you today?"

"I'm alright. I've been worse, really."

"My teachers have been trying to work with me, you know. It's actually pretty uncharacteristically nice..."
