"Nishishishi! Mikan you're always too nervous!" I say, "why is that?"
"I-I'm not exactly sure. I-I've always been l-like that."
"Oooooohhhhhh I see!"
A knock appeared at the door, and a nurse opened the door.
"Hey Kokichi, you have some visitors,"
"Oh, let them in!" I say
"Ok," the nurse leaves.
"Sh-should I go too?" Mikan asks.
"No I don't want you to go!"
"O-ok." She smiled.
The door opens, and in comes kaito, and who I assume to be His parents.
"Huh, oh hi Kai-Chan." I look away slightly.
"H-Huh? Oh, h-hi Mondo, hi Take, and hi Ch-Chihiro." Mikan talks to the people behind kaito.
"You have gay dads?"
"Is there something wrong with that?"
"No— that's not what I meant— I mean I guess it makes sense. Cause I mean you look gay."
"What do you mean by that?"
"The goatee is throwing me off."
"Leon told me to get it!"
Leon Huh? He came over a few days ago to help Mikan, and he hanged out with me a little bit. He's pretty cool.
"A-and you listened to him?" Mikan asked him.
"Well I was, like, five!"
"Then why won't you shave it?" Taka asked him.
"Cause I like it!"
I laughed at them talking, "Well this is certainly a surprise to have you come here."
"Huh why's that?" Kaito asked me.
"Well I've only had three other people visit me, and only one person was good."
"Oh,"
"Yeah... so why are you here?"
"Oh right- well I actually want to say," He clears his throat, "I want to say, I'm sorry."
"Huh—?"
"I'm sorry for bullying you, and leading to suicide."
I stayed silent. I couldn't think of what to say.
"I have no idea what came over me. I'm trying to be better."
I wanted to say something, I wanted to ask him if he was being honest, I wanted to tell him he's lying, I wanted to yell at him for the things he's done all these years. But nothing came out my mouth, except a:
"Thank you.. it was really only a consideration until Shuichi told me to jump." I looked away. "How is Shuichi anyways?"
"Oh, he just told me yesterday that he's done hanging out with me."
"Huh? He did?"
"He said I was too bad of a person for him."
"How ironic."
Kaito laughed a little.
"This is really awkward."
"Heh, yeah.."
As we are both talking to each other, I notice Mikan talking to the other three guys that came with Kaito.
"So you have two dads? Or three?"
"Hm? Oh you mean Chihiro. Yeah he's just living with us, he's pretty cool."
"Oh ok."

After awhile of awkward conversation, Kaito and his parents (plus Chihiro) left. I turn to Mikan,
"So you know some of those guys?"
"Y-Yeah Leon had us meet before."
"Oh I see... you know that Kaito, I like him."
"Like you're g-gay for him?"
"I'm not sure. Maybe, I'm pretty sure I liked Shuichi though."
"Y-you mean you like the g-guy who told you to kill yourself."
"I— that was a different story."
"S-sure." She looked at the time, "y-you should go to sleep. You stayed up k-kinda last last night."
"Oh, alright. Goodnight Mikan!" I smile at her before turning over and pulling the blanket over me.
"Alright n-night Kokichi."
And she left.
