This Is The Kitchen!

"Hana, are you here?" A voice broke through the silence.

Hana rose her head to look around, there was no one in sight, but then she remembered. They are in the vents.
"Yea, it's me."

"I told you, Appa! She is in here, not the kitchen!" The voice whispered. "Why would they put her there?"

"Oh, I don't know, maybe to torture her by eating normal food right in front of her while she has to eat bunches of hay!" Another voice, Appa, said, "Look, I was just hungry, and I haven't had real food in a while."

Hana rolled her eyes, "Are you here to get me out, or just going to stay there and talk about food."

"Yea Fen," Appa harshly whispered, "Stop whining and come on."

A few moments later, Hana saw two figures drop from the sky. One smiled with a cute bunny smile, and the other rolled his eyes and put his hands in his pockets.

"Hey, Hana! We are here to rescue you!" The smiling one, Fen exclaimed a little to loudly.

The other boy, Appa, covered Fen's mouth in a way for him to be quiet. "Shut up," he whispered, "or we are going to get caught."

Hana giggled at the sight these two young boys. Sometimes she wonders why she asked them for help. But behind all the idiocy, these two are very powerful beings.

Fen, being an air bender, had many perks. And as for Appa, well... he's special.

"I got it." Fen said as he lowered Appa's hand from his face. He then turned to Hana, "Can you get out yourself."

"Yea, just give me some space." Hana replied, and the two boys did as they were told and stepped back a bit.

Hana then closed her eyes and focused on the metal encasing her ankles and wrists. She imagined them slowly expanding and breaking, causing her to slip out easily from its threading hold.

She landed on the platform in front of her, but fell into Fen's arms, as she had no feeling in them whatsoever.

"I knew you would need my help." Fen said, and both Hana and Appa rolled their eyes.

"Come on, we're wasting time, I have a feeling they're on to us." Appa said, and as he did the doors from behind the fire pit bursted open with fire nation soldiers filing in, Tae in the front.

"Get them!" Tae ordered, and the soldiers started to make their way towards the trio.

"See, I told you." Appa said. Fen scoffed, "Maybe you could've told us that sooner?" He then turned to Hana with worry, "Can you walk?"

Hana scratched the back of her head in embarrassment, "Well..." she started, but the soldiers were gaining on them fast.

Appa groaned, and Fen blasted the incoming soldiers with a burst of wind causing them to fall. Then, he turned to pick up Hana. "Well I guess I just have to carry you then." He said as he hoisted the her onto his back and set off for the exit, Appa following close behind.

The three bursted through the now empty corridor and maneuvered their way through this underground maze.

They soon were almost out of the place when they came across to doors.

"Hana, do you know which way to go?" Fen asked, but Hana shook her head, "This is new, I don't remember there being two doors to the exit. Maybe we can try both?"

Appa closed his eyes and took a deep breath, "I choose the door on the right."

Fen raised an eyebrow towards him, but Appa returned the glance and shrugged. "Its worth a try." Hana said, and soon enough they entered the right door...

"THIS IS THE KITCHEN!!" Fen yelled, and both Hana and Appa flinched.

Appa then let out a soft chuckle as he grabbed some of the snacks that were laying around, "I was still hungry?" Hana laughed and Fen rolled his eyes.

The three then heard the shouts and clanging metal of the soldiers drawing closer.

"Come on, let's go." Fen said, "before they find us. We'll go through the left door this time."

The trio then retraced their steps and found themselves back at the place with the two doors.

"Let's go, now or never," Hana urged as she was still being carried by Fen.

"Right let's go." Fen said, he looked back and saw that the soldiers were now gaining. He squeaked and started running full force towards the exit, Appa doing the same.
