Yip! Yip!

Hong paced about the entrance of the caverns. Impatiently, he waited for his friends to emerge from the tunnels below.

Just then, Hong saw two men appearing from the wilderness beyond. He gasped and hid in the bushes, making sure he won't get caught.

"We have to get back as soon as we can," one of the men said, "Commander Tae said that the prisoner is trying to escape."

The other man scoffed, "He was so confident that he could do this himself, and now he needs our help."

The first laughed, "Exactly, he's always thinking he is high and mighty like the late Prince Zulee."

The two eventually left and Hong came out of his hiding space. "Prince Zulee? Who is that?" He mumble to himself. As a sheltered boy from the Earth Kingdom, he never really learned about politics and other s of the such. More likely, he never cared.

However, the name caught his attention. Who was this late prince, and what was his legacy?

"I'll just ask Hana." He whispered to himself, and when he did he heard an high pitched squeal come from the entrance to the tunnels.

Hong turned his head and found his friends running out at full speed.

He saw how Hana, who was still on Fen's back , looked behind her as she yelled, "They're gaining on us!"

Appa nodded and soon grew in size, growing fur and extra arms. He soon developed a tail and two horns. The clothes he once wore were ripped off from the growing size.

After about a few seconds Appa roared, as he was now...

... a flying bison?

Both Hong and Hana furrowed they're eyebrows on confusion. "What the heck is that?" They said simultaneously.

Fen rolled his eyes and climbed on to Appa's back, helping both Hana and Hong up. "He says he's a flying bison." Fen said, " I always question his thinking. He could've been a dragon for crying out loud!"

Appa let out a huff of annoyance.

"Okay, okay Appa," Fen said, "Geez."

Hana let out a giggle and Hong rolled his eyes in amusement.

The guards then, were coming out from the caverns and running full speed to where the group was.

Fen looked back and began to worry. "Appa~" he whined, "They are gaining."

Hong smirked at the younger's demeanor, "Yeah Appa, Yip. Yip!" He said.

Appa grumbled as of he was saying 'really' and took to the skies. Slowly, they lost sight of the soldiers and guards below.

"That was close." Hana sighed, "Thank you guys, for rescuing me."

"No problem, great and almighty Avatar." Hong playfully bowed his head, " Though it was a hard task."

Fen scoffed, "Hard? All you did was keep look out. Me and Appa did all the work!"

Appa growled as a response. As if he was saying 'Yea!'

Hong dramatically places his palm to his chest, "I'll have you know, keeping watch is a hard task. I could've died." Appa huffed and the rest of the group laughed.

"I'm just thankful you got me out of that wretched place." Hana said, " the worlds not what it seems to be..."

She trailed off as she saw a palace in the distance. "Where are we going?" She asked.

Fen glances towards the direction Hana was facing, "Oh!" He began, " I forgot to tell you. Instead of going to my hometown like planned. Appa, Hong, and I thought that going to the water tribes would be a better idea!"

Hana furrowed her eyebrows, " A great idea how? You're village was the safest destination for all of us. They know who we are and the location is so remote, no one knows about it."

Hong sighed, "True. But, the water tribes, have the best defenses against the fire nation. And they won't care who you are. No one won't have to know anything."

Hana seemed annoyed, " I chose Fen's village for a reason. It's the only place the Fire Nation hasn't discovered, or even taken over. And best defenses?  Ever since the late prince Zulee became a general, the Fire Nations army has been nothing but an unbeatable source. Nothing can stop them, and this is the first place that they would look! You guys are idiots!"

Appa grumbled in annoyance. Fen and Hong glanced at each other warily. "But maybe well find great allies?" They said in unison.

"Yea maybe..." Hana sighed "I just don't want to ever be thrown back in there..."

Hong nodded, but their little argument brought something to Hong's attention, "Hey, Hana?" He called. Hana looked in his direction, telling him she was listening. Hong continues, " Who was um...

... prince Zulee?"
