"You called?"

The group jumped, alarmed by the man who jumped right in the middle of their conversation.

"H-how the f-" Appa began, but was soon cut off by Hong.

"Yes, we need you to get inside the palace. We have a plan, and we need you for it to succeed."

Karr smirked in acknowledgment, "I'm listening." He said as he crossed his arms and leaned himself against a wall, making sure he actually looks cool, when in reality he's entirely different.

Hana then began to speak, "We have now learned that the Chief's daughter would be married off to the Avatar."

For a minute Karr's "cool" facade faltered. The chief's daughter? Weng?! Why could she be married off? Didn't she love someone else...

He then spoke in a reply, "Okay... so what do you need me for?" He looked straight into the groups eyes one by one, landing lastly at Fen.

Fen's eyes widened at sudden attention, he frantically looked around for anyone else to explain.

Appa, then, relieved him, "We found out through the grapevine that the chief has no idea you exist. No one, for that matter."

Karr smirked, "That's exactly how I want it. I like having no one knowing who I am, I can get away with anything without anyone knowing."

Well, everyone except one...

Hong rolled his eyes, "You're getting real annoying."

Karr gave him a glare as a response, but then he later question why the group needed him. After all, he was only going to help them get in, nothing else. But, why was he getting so involved?

Hana began to tell of Fen's brilliant plan, because somehow Fen was still frozen in place to scared to speak to the intimidating male.

She told of how the Avatar was not exactly fitting the idea of what the chief thought him to be. However, they still needed the water tribes as an ally.

Karr scoffed, "So we are going to con the chief? That is crazy! Do you want to get yourself killed? What if we get caught?"

Finally the timid Fen spoke up, "We won't, as long as we are together. We can all use our bending, making it look like your the only one using it!"

Karr was slowly agreeing to this ridiculous plan. "Okay, but what type of bender are you guys?"

Fen glanced towards Hana, contemplating if they could trust Karr enough. Hana, however, shook her head no. She wasn't ready to tell anyone who she really is.

Fen sighed, "Well, I'm an air bender, Hong is earth, and Hana here is fire."

Karr then furrowed his eyebrows, aren't they missing an element? "What about water?" He asked.

The rest looked around seeing if anyone could make up an answer. Hana quickly thought of one. "It's covered."

Karr let out a puff of air, decoding if he should be part of this crazy con. Or just let them die. His brain was telling him the best thing he should do is just let them be. If he gets involved, all of his years staying in the shadows to one day rise to the top would all go to waste. All of his hard work and time would mean nothing. However, there was a part of him that really wanted to help. To seek this adventure. But he didn't know why? Maybe it was the thrill of doing something crazy, or maybe it was something else.

Something .... or someone...

Karr finds himself in a mirror looking borderline like a girl. The expensive fabrics hung loosely on his lean frame, and accessories glittered everywhere. He frowned in disgust at his own appearance. Not because he looked bad.

No.

He's disgusted at himself for liking this way too much.

For once in his life he seemed important. He seemed like someone anyone would recognize. He loved this new found confidence, the logic side of him was horrified.

Soon, Fen and Appa came to check on him.
"How's the pretty little princess holding up." Appa commented trying hard to hold on his laugh, along with Fen.

Karr turned around and looked at the pair with a sassy look etched onto his face, "Laugh all you want. You're just jealous you would never look this good." He then flipped his imaginary hair and strutted out of the room, leaving Appa and Fen both dying of laughter.

Karr, then walked down the hallway to see Hana and Hong conversing. Karr cleared his throat to gain the attention of the two. "So, how do I look?"

Hana's eyes widened with a bit of a red hue to her cheeks. But, Hong bursted out laughing. "You look like a girl!" He wheezed. Hana smacked his arm, as he was being ridiculous.

"You look great, Karr." She said, "Don't let these boys fool you. They don't know what beauty means."

With that Hong stopped laughing and glared at Hana. "I'll have you know. That I was considered the most handsome in my town. You were lucky to even be friends with me."

Hana rolled her eyes and stood up to leave, ready for the mission. Hong glances up and soon followed after her saying things like it was kidding' or 'I'm lucky to know you' or 'your right, Karr is cute'. The last of those leaving Karr stunned.

He watched as Appa and Fen bickered about something completely irrelevant, and walk their way out towards the rest.

He then smiled to himself. He was glad that he went along with this plan. For once in his life, he felt as if he belonged.
