"She's gone.."

"What! What do you mean she is gone!?" The chief was was slowly becoming furious. His own daughter had ran away.

"She l-left sir- "

"We'll go find her!" He was not amused. Hasn't he treated his daughter enough? He has given her everything. Just for her to run away.

And run away to where? Where could she go? As soon as she leaves this place, she will be hunted down. They are at war.

The soldiers and servants soon dispersed and started to look for the young woman.

She shouldn't have gone far.

~Somewhere in the market~

"So... are we going to look for that shady guy?" Fen asked as he juggled some apples. Even though he can only accomplish that with his air bending abilities.

Hong shrugged, "I guess. If that's the only way in."

Appa agreed, but Hana wasn't so sure. It's a bit weird for someone to follow them for that long.

"Just give it more time. I'm not really sure if we shou- hey!?" She was cut off by a figure that bumped into her. She fell onto the ground along with the figure. Leaving the rest stunned.

The figure laid underneath her, it's face slowly revealing itself to Hana. Hana froze in bewilderment. However, the face seemed familiar. She squinted her eyes to try to remember where she has seen it.

Then it hit her. "Weng?" She hesitantly asked, "Is it really you?"

The said girl widened her eyes in astonishment, "H-Hana? What are you doing here?! You're going to get killed if they find out you're a fire soldier... and can you get off of me?"

Hana was confused why Weng would ask for her to get off of her. But, she then realized that she was still on top of Weng. Not only on top, but also very close. So close, in fact, that their noses slightly grazed each other's and their lips centimeters from touching.

"O-oh sorry..." Hana quickly stood up and helped Weng also. Hana nervously chuckled, but Weng looked as if she was waiting for an answer, leaving Hana confused. "What?" She asked.

"I asked what you're doing here?" Weng pushed, "You can't be here, I don't want to see you get caught!"

"Ummmm, were guests?" Hana said. She then looked around Weng to see if anyone else is here, like they should be, but there was no one. "Where are your bodyguards?"

Weng looked down, she didn't know how she could tell her friend that she was running away.  In Hana's eyes it looked as if Weng had the perfect life. Weng was too scared to tell her anything after she left from visiting the fire nation.

Weng was about to tell until she heard soldiers come running in her direction. She widened her eyes and hid behind Hana, "Don't let them see me! They can't know I'm here!"

Hong looked at the princess suspiciously, "Why?" He whispered as the soldiers ran past them, looking everywhere, but the Avatar Gang.

Weng slowly stood up from her hiding spot and turned to the group. "Because," She vegans to explain, "I ran away, and I don't want to go back."

Fen gawked at the girl, "B-but you're a princess, why would you want to leave?" He then was suddenly elbowed by Appa, who explained that being a princess isn't always puppies and rainbows.

Weng sighed as she began to explain, "I left because I was going to marry someone I don't know. My dad though of this crazy plan to get the Avatar on our side by marrying whoever it is to me. So that's why I'm leaving and going to Republic City. Where I can get away from all of this war."

Republic city... So much Weng doesn't know about Republic city.

This is a war, and underground one, and Republic city is in the heart of it. It is where all come for peace, but in reality it's the center of a war.

And she's going straight into it.

Hana was considering on telling her this until she remembered another piece of Weng's explanation, "Wait, did you say marry the Avatar?"

Weng looked at Hana like she had just said a stupid question. "Well yea, my dad arranged it."

Fen gulped, "but what if it was a girl?"

Weng sighed, "He's getting that is a boy so..."

Hana furrowed her eyebrows, a boy? But, she was a girl? She kept thinking about this, but she didn't realize Weng had already left.

Hana then turned to the group, "The chief think I'm a boy? What should we do, tell him he's wrong? But that would ruin everything, his power and our tie to him."

Fen agreed, along with Appa, there was no way they could tell the chief that Hana is the Avatar. However, what could they do?

Just then, Fen had a great idea, "I know what we can do." He smirked and looked to Hong's direction, "but we will have to find that Karr guy to help us get in the palace."

Hong suspiciously looked at Fen, "why are you looking at me like that, and how are we supposed to find Karr?"

Fen shrugged and looked around as if there was an answer hidden within sight. He turned back to the group and saw a familiar figure hop down from a roof and right by the group.

"You called?"
