Chapter 14

February 26, 2017; You never walk alone fansigning event; Hongdae

"Wow! Is this what you get to see for the last four days?" Jimin asks, his little fingers brushing to the surface of the wall, eyes roaming the small four corner dim-lighted room with nothing inside aside from the table where the laptops and her backpack are and a single chair in front of the table. Jimin's eye then found the three laptops showing the live footage of different rooms.

"Look! It's the hyungs!" he exclaimed, pointing the specific part of the screen in childlike manner, his eyes were turning cresent in amusement.

"What does Hobi-hyung and Namjoon-hyung even doing?" Taehyung snorted, watching the two hyungs dancing--or more like flailing their arms in front of a camera.

"They look like fishes that was washed up on the shore and couldn't go back to the water." Jungkook commented, laughing at his hyungs poor excuse of dancing. He knew Hoseok is good at dancing but sometimes, even him questions it.

The maknae line managed to annoy Eun Byeol until she shows them where she had been staying while they are busy with the fans. Although it wasn't the same room since the fansigning events located in different places, the scenario is always the same.

"How can you even stay in a room like this, Noona? It's so cramped and dark. I bet there might be ghost here too." Taehyung shuddered at the thought of ghost.

"You know, we could ask Manager Sejin to give you a more larger and well-lighted place." Jungkook suggested, his eyes focused on the aloof girl sitting in front of the monitors. Why does his heart feels like it wanted to jump off of his ribcage?

"Yeah, I agree. This place is smaller than Yoongi hyung's first studio." Jimin second-the-motion.

"There's a reason why they put me here. I specially ask for a smaller room and I prefer darkness. It makes me more concentrated to do my work." There's really something on smaller and dark places that made her comfortable.

"You're a weird one." Taehyung commented.

"Says you." Jungkook snorted.

"Yah! If you think that I already forgotten how you cheated your way so you could win over me, then you're wrong!" Taehyung retaliated, suddenly bringing back the cause of the bickering yesterday.

"Really? I told you many times, I can't cheat on Piano Tiles! No one could cheat on that game!" Jungkook exasperated. This hyung never let the topic go.

"Oh yeah." Taehyung sarcastically retaliated, "How could you win everytime?!"

"It's because I'm good at it! You're being childish hyung!"

"Oh so now I'm the childish one? I'm not the one drinking banana milk right now."

"I can't help it! It's delicious! Aish! You're stressing me more than Jin hyung stresses me."

"Are they always like this?" Eun Byeol turn to Jimin who was silently watching the whole petty argument in front of them.

"Yes but don't worry though. Taehyung just like getting a reaction from Jungkook so he always teases him. He never got serious. Jungkook and Jin hyung bickers way more than this two." Jimin answered, stretching the word "way" for emphasis.

"They fusses over some petty things." Eun Byeol shook her head.

"Taehyung knew how Jungkook get competitive and so work up when someone pointing out something about his gameplay so he always uses this to annoy the maknae."

When the fansigning event ended, the boys are so ecstatic to go home and rest. After long day of work, they got to rest at last.

The eager boys starts to line up so they can get on the car peacefully. Eun Byeol stays behind, keeping her eyes around the surrounding and in full alert. It was passed eleven already so there's barely any people wandering around, the streets are almost empty aside from vehicles zooming from time to time.

When all of the boys settle inside, Eun Byeol didn't follow next instead, she check if everybody's in like she always do from the past days.

"Where's Taehyung and Jungkook?" Eun Byeol asks when she notice that two weren't inside.

"They're right here---" Jimin answers, turning his upper body to look at the two maknaes who always seat at the back.

"---oh? They're not here!" he exclaims as soon as he realize that no one seating back.

"What? Aren't they the first one to get on the car?" Jin asks, clearly remembering that the maknaes rushes to the car earlier since they want to take a nap while the other members prepare to go home. They were the first two to finish removing makeup and changing out from their outfits into casual one.

Just then, Eun Byeol's phone rang. Knowing full well what that sound was, she immediately grab her phone from the pocket of her jacket. Red flashes on the screen and huge exclamation point was blinking at the beat of the sound. Without wasting any more second, she immediately touch the screen.

She pull the van's door close and proceed to pull the door in passenger seat hastily, rummaging her bag for her gun.

"What's that? What happened?" Yoongi was the first one to snap out from shock.

"I received a distress signal from Jungkook's bracelet," Eun Byeol answered without even sparing his a glance. Her main focus is to go to where Jungkook and Taehyung were before anything bad happens to them,  "Manager Sejin, drive the boys back to their dorm. Don't wait for us." then she's running away from them, eyes on the screen of her phone.

"What? No! Manager, we can't just leave them!" Jimin quavered when Manager Sejin revives the engine.

"Chimchim's right manager. Eun Byeol doesn't have a car and she left her bag here. There's no way they can go home." Hoseok added.

"But she said to drive you guys home. She have her phone, she can call me to fetch her." Manager Sejin answered as the car slowly picks up speed.

"Manager! You have to listen to us! What if something happens to them and they need an immediate ride?" said Jimin, desperation laces both his voice and face.

"I agree to them, Manager. Eun Byeol and the maknaes might need us." Namjoon stated.

"I think so too."

"I agree."

Both the eldest chorused. Manager Sejin heave a sigh, taking a u-turn back to the venue to wait for them.

Meanwhile, Eun Byeol keep cursing herself while running. She can't believe that she haven't noticed the two missing. She can swear she saw them before they go out of the building--or not. She's not sure anymore!

Turning into an alley, she can now hear faint grunts and moans.
