Chapter 08

Eun Byeol finished installing the cameras thanks to Jungkook's help and now, they are currently sitting around the table filled with various dishes. Bulgogi, Carbonara, Chicken, Pizza, Jajangmyeon, Steak and ribs. Side dishes are also served generously.

"Wow! This is the first time hyung cook so much!" Taehyung marveled, eyes scanning the table full of foods. His eyes literally sparkles at the sight of the mouthwatering foods.

"He didn't cook half of the food here though. He ordered it." Jimin argued which earn a slap on the head from the elder.

"Just be thankful that there's food in front of us, you ungrateful child!" Jin hollered, eyes popping out from its socket.

"Let's eat! I'm hungry!" Hoseok exclaimed, picking up his chopsticks to grab chicken when another chopstick pushed his chopsticks away.

"At least let Hyung eat first! Where's your manner!" Jimin stated.

"He's with your jam." Hoseok retaliated.

"Jimin, you got no jams." Taehyung imitated his hyung which make the guys around except Jimin to guffaw.

"Yah! At least show some respect. We have a guest, remember!" the maknae's scolding voice broke them from their laughing. His hyung's attention turn to him.

"Say someone who always bullies the hyungs." Namjoon commented which made the maknae to blush.

"Oh~ someone's embarassed!" Hoseok teased the maknae which deepens the blush on the former's cheeks.

"Why? Because Jeon Kookie's crush is here?" Taehyung added, making the boys except the said guy to roared in laughter again.

"Yah stop! I can't see anything!" Jimin babbled in between of laughter, his eyes disappearing because of laughing too much.

"Are we going to eat or not? If not, then I might just leave and sleep." Yoongi's cold voice made them stop from laughing, though didn't stop them from stifling their laugh.

"Someone woke up from the wrong side of the bed." Jin commented which in return, Yoongi spat colorful words.

"Yah! I'm still your hyung!"

"Yoongi hyung cusses more than he actually speaks." Jin and Jimin said at the same time.

"Okay kids, calm down. Let's give some respect to our guest." Namjoon decided to step in as if he hasn't said anything earlier.

"Let's eat!" Jin exclaimed, taking a bite of bulgogi immediately so the others can eat too.

Jungkook grab a piece of chicken, placing it on Eun Byeol's plate which happens at the same time as Jimin put a steak and Taehyung put a slice of pizza on her plate. The hyung line exchanges confused glances but shrugged it off. Eun Byeol muttered a thanks and plaster a smile at the maknae line.

"I'm sorry for their behavior, Eun Byeol. Their kids stucked in the body of grown men." Namjoon turn to Eun Byeol who nod in understaning.

"It's okay. I'm actually entertained. Back on the Agency, we never really joked to each other like this. All of them are so serious, maybe because they're older." Eun Byeol shrug. That's true though, her days on the agency were all dandy, talking about their past missions and topics that Eun Byeol cannot relate. Somehow, even if she didn't admit it to anyone, Kei's bright and outgoing personality made her job and life less terrible.

"Really? Are agents that boring?" Hoseok commented.

"Can you tell us something about your job?" This time, it was Jungkook's voice who said it. His tone no longer held shyness but seems off as if he thought of it and rehearsed it all over again.

"I can't really tell you much since it's prohibited and I can't just disclose some information but I can tell you that my job isn't exactly as enjoyable as what it seems, minus the adventure part of course." Eun Byeol stated.

"Tell us more!" Jimin urges her but Jin smack him again on his head.

"Let's do it later after eating. Let Eun Byeol eat, pabo." the elder stated which made the former pout.

Of course it wasn't quiet after that. The boys are messing with each other as the smile on Eun Byeol's lips didn't falter. This is the longest time she had smile so genuinely. She even laugh when the boys said something or do something funny.

At the middle of their play fighting, Taehyung's phone keep ringing and he would just decline it with a glare. Until the other members had enough.

"Sasaeng?" Yoongi asks, his voice cold and low. Taehyung nodded, about to turn the phone off when the notification ding-ed signalling that he had a message.

"They sent a message." Taehyung blurted out, placing his chopsticks on his plate before grabbing his phone.

"No don't read it!" Jin yelled but Taehyung's curiosity won. He clicked the notification and his angry and pissed off face turn into utter horror. His breath started to pick up as he turn pale.

"Why? What is it?" Namjoon asks in confusion but Taehyung froze in his seat.

Since Jungkook was the one who sat beside the said guy peak on his phone and what he saw made him jungshook and gulp.

Eun Byeol, having enough of suspense laid her hand out, "give me." her voice stern and void of emotion. The professional Silver came back.

Taehyung gave his phone to Eun Byeol, hands shaking as tears started to form on his eyes. Jimin and Hoseok goes to comfort the shaken boy.

What Eun Byeol saw was a photograph of a target. At the middle of the target, a picture was pinned. The face had been mutilated by dart marks and blood splatters but is still recognizable. No doubt, it was Taehyung's picture.

There's a caption after the picture which she couldn't understand. Turning to Namjoon to show the screen to him, silently saying to translate it to him.

Namjoon gulped, looking at Taehyung who are being comforted by the maknae line+hoseok in worry before looking back to the emotionless face of Eun Byeol, answering in low voice, "Your face makes me motivated to aim for the bullseye. It's just a picture, I wonder how exciting would it be if it's your real head that I'm targeting. Keep your eyes open and stay alert because the next thing you might know is you're lying on the floor, covered with your own blood and your handsome face mutilated. What a wonderful sight for your fans, eh?"
