Chapter 26

May 7, 2017; Mall of Asia; Sea-side

Night walks with Jungkook after the concert has become a normal occurence with Eun Byeol. Every night, the maknae will knock on her room's door asking if she wanted to breathe fresh air and everytime, she will say yes.

This is one of those nights. Both clad in just an oversized hoodie and sweatpants, Eun Byeol and Jungkook walk beside each other, a comfortable silence enveloping the two of them as they casually stroll around the seaside, feeling the cold breeze that Manila has only at night. It was so late so there's not much people around, only a couple of filipinos couple who cares nothing about them. But just in case, both of them have their hoodies up and half of their face were covered with black mask.

"Philippines is really a beautiful country don't you think?" Jungkook started, breaking the silence between them.

"Uh-huh. I have a friend who's half filipina and she often brings me with her when she visits. Their beaches is really pretty." Eun Byeol agrees, memories from where she and Kei visits the country.

"But wifi is so slow. Yoongi hyung is always stressed out." the maknae chuckles to which the lass chuckles too.

The two continue walking until they got to the very end. Jungkook help Eun Byeol to sit on top of the low wall separating the sea and the cemented ground. They sat on the opposite side facing the sea, their feet dangling right above the massive stones on the side.

"Do you have a special guy waiting for you back at home?" Jungkook asks all of a sudden.

"Yeah. Frost is his name." this wasn't the exact answer he wanted to hear. Jealousy run through his veins, sending millions of little daggers that continuously stabbing his heart. What kind of name was that? Who is he? Jack Frost?

"How is he?" Jungkook cannot help the jealousy dripping on his voice. What irks him the most is how Eun Byeol's eyes shimmer in excitement by just mentioning his name and he can tell that she's smiling under the mask. She should be smiling only for me!

"He's very handsome. Everyone who saw him said that he's very scary looking and intimidating but I can't see what they saw. All I saw is a cinnamon roll who's very clingy," You can see how she love that Frost guy so much by how the tone of her voice changes and how different her eyes glimmers, "Though he's really possessive when it comes to me. Do you want to see a picture?"

Jungkook knows that he's just only hurting himself but the bunny is curious! Let's see who's this lucky bastard so I can think a way to eliminate him, "Sure."

Eun Byeol fishes her phone from the pocket of her hoodie, pressing her fingerprint to the scanner and going to the gallery and into a folder named Frost. Eun Byeol shows Jungkook the screen of her phone.

"Majestic, isn't he?"

"F-frost is a ti-tiger?" Jungkook asks, doe eyes widen in shock as Eun Byeol swipes to different image showing the beautiful white tiger.

"What do you think he is?" Eun Byeol chuckles but then, her eyes widen in horror, "Oh no! You think I have a boyfriend back at home?"

Jungkook nod sheepishly, "Well, it's impossible for you to not have a boyfriend. I mean, you're very pretty, kind and clever, any man would fight for you." just look at them now, brothers but liking the same girl.

"Not if you have an overprotective father and well, there's frost who growl and bare his sharp teeth whenever he sees a guy visiting me or just smelling other guy's scent on me. He even growl and bare his teeth at Papa." Eun Byeol stated, remembering how overprotective Frost can be. Jungkook gulped at this, he never expected that this girl owns a tiger.

"How did you even get a tiger as a pet? I mean, isn't it illegal?" Jungkook asks.

"You see, Frost is a white Bengal Tiger that was bred in captivity. He's just a little cub when he got rescued by Papa and his men from an abusive circus. We didn't really intend to adopt him, he's injured when they rescued him. The wildlife rehabilitator refuse to nurse him because they can't release him back on the wild and they doesn't have a space for another wild animal. They said that he won't survive long on the wild because he's bred in captivity so I persuade Papa to keep him." Eun Byeol explained to the best she can.

"How old is he now?" Jungkook asks, scrolling through the pictures saved on Eun Byeol's gallery. He stopped to a picture of Frost when he was a baby and smiles. He can't believe that he got jealous of this cute little pal.

"He's two years old."

"Who's taking care of him while you are on a mission?"

"We hired someone to feed him and make sure that he's healthy." Eun Byeol answered, smiling as she watch Jungkook scroll through the pictures of Frost with great interest.

"What do he even eat to make sure that he won't eat you instead?" Jungkook joke, seeing a picture to where the lass literally lie ontop of the massive cat with his head on top of hers.

"Well, he can atleast 40kg of meat then he won't be eating after several days but we make sure that she have snacks ready whenever she gets hungry and we're still very cautious when we enter his paddock though he's just a little baby. I swear, he acts more human than any humans are." she answered.

"Well, he sounds pretty interesting."

"Do you want to meet him? I mean personally?"

"But you said he hates seeing other guy with you."

"Is that fear I sense? The great golden maknae of BTS is afraid of Frost?" Eun Byeol teases him, laughing when the maknae glares at her playfully and went to slap Eun Byeol on the shoulder. His fingers gracing her neck which sent shivers down her spine, making her squirm in contact.

Jungkook notices it, smirking at the idea forming on his brilliant yet flirty mind.

"Oh no." Eun Byeol mumbles under her breath, eyes widen in horror as she immediately stood up, walking away from Jungkook who looks at her with an evil smile.

Then the tickle war starts with Eun Byeol having the urge to kick him so he would stop but decided against it. Because she's liking it.
