Chapter 18

After the foods were served and the living room was cleaned up for Min Yoongi's birthday celebration, the members all gathered in front of the long table. Different dishes of meat and side dishes are on top of the table, waiting to be devour.

The birthday celebrant wants a simple celebration where he cooks his favorite dishes and eat together with the members. No luxurious gift, No surprise party or anything extra, just them in a simple celebration. His birthday is suppose to be tomorrow but decided to just celebrate it in advance since they have to catch flight tomorrow morning and won't have a chance to celebrate it.

Why they weren't eating yet? It's because Eun Byeol excuses herself after she helped cooking because she have to grab something on her apartment and they can't just eat without her.

"Anyway, where's the cake? It can't be a birthday celebration without a cake." Jin asks when he notice the absence of the cake on the table.

"I ask Jungkook and Hobi to buy it earlier." Namjoon answered.

"No you didn't. You asked Taehyung." Jungkook objected.

One look from Taehyung, they know he forgot to buy it. Yoongi groan, glaring at the younger in annoyance.

"Of all the things you have to forget? It's the cake?" he asked in disbelief.

"It's not my fault! Noona stopped me from leaving earlier." Taehyung retaliated.

"Speaking of Eun Byeol, why does she takes so looong?" Jimin whined, his mouth salivating at the dishes in front of him.

As if on cue, the light suddenly turned off and a click echoes on the whole dorm. Hoseok's eyes widen.

"Wh-what just happened?" he asks, trembling as he look around but to no avail.

"Go check it out." Jimin ordered Taehyung who was frozen on his spot.

"Why don't you go check it out since you are the one who thought about it." Taehyung sassed.

"Happy birthday to you~ Happy birthday day to you~ Happy birthday dear Yoongi, Happy Birthday to you."

Their bickering stop when they heard a familiar cold voice. A figure walk towards them, the light from the candle illuminating her pale face. Her pale complexion, emotionless expression, cold voice and flickering of the candlelight made it terrifying than it supposed to be.

Jin, Jimin, Taehyung and Hoseok gulped as their eyes locked on Eun Byeol's dark ones. If her face is void of emotion, then her eyes looks like a dark abyss.

Eun Byeol walks toward Yoongi, offering the cake with candle lit on top as if silently saying to blow it.

"Happy Birthday, Yoongi-ssi. I know you told us to not buy you a gift but I didn't buy it. Well, i did buy the ingredients but I made the cake and icing from scratch." Eun Byeol stated when Yoongi just stares at her.

"Hyung! Just blow it!" Hoseok yelled so they could turn on the lights as soon as possible. Dark, Candle and Eun Byeol weren't good together, they thought.

"Don't forget to make a wish!" Jungkook exclaim when he was about to blow the candle. Yoongi chuckles and with a gummy smile, he closes his eyes and make a wish on his mind.

"Yehey!"

"Happy birthday, hyung!"

"Happy birthday, Yoongi!"

The boys exclaimed all at the same time while Namjoon went to open the lights so they could eat.

They could finally see what the self-made cake by Eun Byeol looks like. The circle cake was covered with white icing, melted chocolate drops on the side and different kinds of fruits garnished the top part.
