Chapter 20

Just after BTS finished their encore stage, Jungkook was immediately escorted to a room by Manager Sejin, the other members immediately following their maknae, worry plastered on their sweaty face.

"Where's Byeol-ah?" Jungkook had managed to ask his manager despite of feeling so weak.

"Yah! You're about to faint and you are still wondering where Eun Byeol is?" Hoseok asks in whisper tone so the camera won't catch what he had said. He said in a light tone to ease the building tension.

"She's waiting inside the room." Sejin whispered back.

Meanwhile, Eun Byeol is casually sitting on one of the chairs, her back leaning on the backrest and her thigh is on top of the other. Manager Sejin had made her wait inside the room instead of returning back to her temporary office because the members keep asking for her throughout the whole concert.

There's Jungkook who wouldn't accept help from others if Eun Byeol wasn't around, Jimin and Taehyung who pesters her about their performance especially if they make a teeny tiny mistake that she's sure the fans didn't even realize at all, Hoseok who rants at her everytime Jin and Namjoon forgets a step on their choreography. Yoongi was the only member who doesn't need any help but was there to watch you suffer and laugh at you.

Eun Byeol didn't even know if her job here was to protect them or babysit them. She hates it when she couldn't say no or say a smartass remark everytime they would ask her to do something for them. She hates to admit it but she's growing on them.

When Jungkook with Manager Sejin supporting him and the other members and some of the staffs tailing behind them enters the small room, she knows her peace was already broken.

Manager Sejin had made him to seat on the mat that was prepared by the staff but he fell down with a thump. They made him lay down and put a small cushion to support his head. Manager Hobeom went to lift his black shirt up and remove his microphone set strapped on his waist.

Eun Byeol didn't move on her position, she doesn't want to stand up and add to the crowd hovering around the poor maknae. He badly needs air and their doing a poor job on giving him space.

"Are you okay?" Jin asks in dazed, watching as Jimin kneeled down and lift one of his leg to help with the circulation. The eldest can't process what's happening, like his mind suddenly shut down and his head empty of thoughts.

"Jungkook, do you want us to leave?" Namjoon asks, peering over the maknae, worry plasters on his face, "It'll be better to take your pants off."

"Yeah. Let's get out." Hoseok agrees, motioning the other members and other staffs who's doing nothing to step out of the room. Manager Hobeom begins to undo Jungkook's belt and took of his shoes as the other managers tried to cool him down.

Eun Byeol silently hand the respirator to one of the managers so Jungkook could regain his breathing pattern as soon as possible. Jimin sat down near the door, out of all the members, Jimin feels the most worry towards the maknae. He couldn't just wait outside without knowing what's happening to his maknae.

When the manager in charge in respirator put it down, Eun Byeol hand him the ice pack next, doing it all without standing up just because she's too lazy to do so but still wanted to help.

"Take of his socks," Hobeom started as the manager who had an ice pack held down on Jungkook's forehead lift the hem of his shirt and begin fanning them, "He said he's fine but I think he should take them off." he continues, going to remove the black socks on Jungkook's feet but he manage to lightly thug it.

"No, don't." Jungkook muttered in small voice, his eyes scrunches tight.

"Your socks are your pride?" Hobeom laugh, trying to lighten up the mood which was effective since he made Jungkook to chuckle, "Your socks are your pride, huh?" This time, Jimin had manage to laugh too, his eyes turning into cresents in relief that the maknae is already okay.
