Chapter 30

Everything on Cheon's residency was extravagant. If the frontyard was already wide and massive, then you should see the backyard too.

It's like their house has their own resorts and activity area. The verdant greenery stretches approximately 25,000 sq. 1/4 of this land was turned into a swimming pool with a manmade waterfalls and spiral slide. The other part was a multipurpose court. Then there's the barn and the Riella Greenhouse, named after Gabriella since she's the one who's taking care of the plants inside.

What cracked the boys up was when they need to ride a cart just to get to their destination. Yes, it's that far.

"Imagine you're this rich that you have to ride a golf cart just to get to the toilet room." Hoseok joked, his hand and his phone busy capturing the scenery in front of them like he was a tourist from another country visiting a tourist spot.

"It's really unnecessary I know. I used to go the paddock riding Stal or just walking but it saves time." Eun Byeol stated while she drives the cart.

"You have a court? You must be good at sports too." Namjoon stated when they pass the multipurpose court.

"Nah. I don't like sports cause they hate me. I'm terrible at any sports." she chuckles, remembering that one time on her childhood when she tried to play tennis but ended up having a black eye on both of her eyes because she couldn't catch the ball.

"The only sports I'm good at were throwing knives and martial arts. I despise sports revolving around balls." she continues.

"Why so?" Jungkook asks. This is a new information for him also. They never really talk about sports when they're together, they mostly goof around or chill.

"Let's just say that they follow me around and I always ended up going home with either bruises or black eyes. Actually, that court has never been use after that one incident." she answered, cheeks turning red in embarassment as the memory of that one incident flashes back to her mind. That blush never gone unnoticed considering how pale her skin was.

"Ohh that's sounds interesting! Would you mind telling us that one incident then?" Jimin voice out what everyone has in mind. Eun Byeol felt her cheeks heated up more. It's an embarassing story but she couldn't find herself to say no to them.

"To cut the long story short, I was playing volleyball with one of my nanny when she accidentally serve the ball so hard and it hit me straight at the head. I was sent to the hospital when I fainted and ended up suffering to concussion for 3 days," she started to which the boys let a loud boisterous laugh at the story, "Did I mention that nanny was a former volleyball mvp on her college year?" Jin's laugh was too loud that it overpowered the laugh of the other boys.

"Mom and Papa was so livid that they wanted to sue the nanny but the reason was so petty and funny so they just fired her. Poor Nanny actually, I was the reason why we were playing volleyball in the first place but she got fired after."

"How old were you when that happens?" Hoseok asks, eyes brimming with tears from laughing too much.

"I was thirteen, I think," she answered, "Now thinking about that now, I realize how much of a spoiled brat I was back then. I couldn't even count how many servants lost their job because of me" she continued, now feeling bad to those people who got victimized of her spoiled attitude.

"Now I know where to go when I needed to borrow some money. Jin hyung is so stingy." Yoongi suddenly stated which earned the attention of all of them, including Eun Byeol who were driving.

"Yah! We're both earning the same amount of money!" the said hyung retaliated.

"Now that we're here, can I ask what kind of specie Frost is?" Hoseok asks the moment they descend from the cart and was welcomed by a tall and massive thick metal cage. The paddock itself was like a mini forest with a wide pond at the side.

"You'll see." Jungkook smirk.

"You know?" Taehyung asks in shock when the maknae seems to know the answer. Jungkook was loving how he's the only one who knew about Frost.

Eun Byeol grab a gold whistle from the pocket of jacket, bringing it to her lips and blowing air into the rectangular air-input. It produces a soft distinct sound. Seconds after the whistle, a loud roar followed. A white tiger walks out from the rock cave, his sapphire blue eyes glaring at their direction. The magestic creature stalk towards them, emitting an intimidating aura that even Jungkook was taken a back. His ears were twisted, tail lashing, eyes wide-open and mouth slightly agape, a telltale sign that Frost is in his agressive mode.

Hoseok was so shock that his eyes widen like a dear caught in the headlight, stumbling back away from the paddock like it can actually reach him while the other members vocalized their shock.

"Y-you have a t-tiger as-as a pet?!" Hoseok asks in disbelief.

"Well, he's not a pet, a family rather." Eun Byeol answers, sticking out her fingers when Frost reach the metal cage so he could smell her scent, just enough for Frost to know that she's not an enemy but not enough for him to bite if he's not on the mood.

The threatening roars coming from his chest turned into soft chuffs before he leans on her outstretched hand as if telling her to pat him on the head. This is not where it ended, Frost suddenly rolls around, exposing her belly like when dogs and cats wanted their owner to rub their belly.

"See? He's a big baby." Eun Byeol stated as she rub his belly. Frost let out a quiet happy chuff but when the boys took a step closer, he suddenly stood on all four, heads up high, paws down, eyes glaring, teeth baring and producing loud growls coming from his chest.

"He doesn't really like visitors but don't worry, he won't attack without my signal and the paddock's safe." Eun Byeol said sheepishly. In fear, all of the boys, excluding Taehyung took a step back. Jimin pulling Taehyung with him but the latter didn't even move.

"I really want to have a lion as a pet, Noona! Lions and Tigers are my favorite wild animals." Taehyung stated, his eyes shinning and lips upturned on an excited yet childish smile.

"I would like you to pat him but because of extra precautions, you can't. He's pissed right now. He doesn't really want to see and smell visitors, especially male around me," Eun Byeol said to the male who's keeping eye contact with the tiger who still looks ready to pounce him at any moment.

"It's okay Noona. I know they're dangerous." Taehyung answered, still having that same excited and childish smile. Eun Byeol suddenly grabs Taehyung's arm to look at the time, the male yelped at the sudden movement. Just then, a male suddenly approach them, two buckets of raw meat on both hands.

"It's his time to eat. If you want, you can feed him." Eun Byeol said, taking one of the bucket from the male and placing it in front of Taehyung.
