Prologue

February 18, 2017; Bighit Entertainment; Conference Room.

"Did the members saw this?" Bang Si Hyuk asks, eyeing the white box at the middle of the long table. Stress was evident on his face as his right hand found its way on his temple, massaging it as a stabbing pain caused by stress hit him.

"No. They are still filming for the Burn the Stage when a staff hand me the box. It was addressed to Hoseok." said the main manager, Sejin.

Earlier today, Manager Sejin received a box from a fan which contains a cake. It was addressed to Hoseok since today is his birthday. For safety precautions, Manager Sejin opened the box to check the content to only see a cake---but it was mangled and unappetizing. A crimson liquid was splattered on the inside and was also used to write; You shouldn't have been born on the inside of the box lid. The managers and Sihyuk suspected it to be blood but didn't touch it in fear of it being hazardous.

"The staff stated that the guard was the one to received it from a delivery boy. We contacted the bakeshop where the cake came from but they can't tell who bought it because many customer bought the same cake today." Sejin added.

"This is becoming out of hand. We don't have a choice but to----" Bang Sihyuk was interrupted when the door suddenly banged open.

The other manager, Hyungsoo was panting, face gone pale as he catch his breath.

"Jimin was found unconscious on the cr!"

"Go. I'll make a quick call." Bang Sihyuk dismissed as the two managers rushed out of the room.
