Chapter 4: "I wish I could explain your eyes, and how the sound of your voice gives me butterflies. How your smile makes my heart skip a beat and how every time I'm with you, I feel so complete."

After that day, we started hanging out together. Sa bawat araw na kasama ko siya, mas marami akong nalaman sa kanya. I've gotten to know him in a whole lot different level. I learned how simple he is. Hindi siya maarte. Hindi rin siya namimili ng kaibigan. 

Vash is not just a pretty face; he's so smart that he sometimes renders me speechless with his knowledge. With him, every topic is interesting. Masarap siyang kausap. Madalas niya rin akong napapatawa sa mga kwento niya. 

"Walanghiya talaga sa kagwapuhan si Vash."

Napangiti ako sa komento ni Bailey habang pinagmamasdan namin siya. He was with his group of friends. Nakaupo sila sa bench at mukhang may nakakatawa silang pinag-uusapan dahil tumatawa si Vash. Napadaan lang kami ng kaibigan ko pero ng mamataan ko siya ay napahinto ako at pinagmasdan na lang siya katulad ng ibang mga estudyante sa paligid niya. They were obviously swooning over him. 

"Ganda talaga ng mga dimples niya 'no?" I said with a dreamy look.

She rolled her eyes. "Be, huwag masyadong mabaliw sa kanya. Hinay-hinay."

I let out a sigh. "It's hard not to." I smiled as I recalled our moments together. "Kapag nakasama mo siya, you'll understand why it's hard not to fall so hard for him. He's that guy, Bailey."

"That guy?"

"He's that guy who could give you butterflies in the stomach with his stunning smile; who could make your heart jump with just a single glance, and drown you with his stare; who could melt your heart with his natural sweet gestures; who could amaze you with his intelligence. He's the guy who could make you fall so hard in just a day."

She looked at me, stupefied. "Wow. You're really in love."

Ngumiti lang ako sa kanya at hinila na siya paalis. Muli akong sumulyap kay Vash, eksaktong napatingin siya sa gawi ko. He plastered his gorgeous smile and waved at me. And just like I said, he made my heart jump with that gorgeous smile. I waved back at him, blushing.

As I was reading a book in the library, I caught a whiff of a pleasant smell. Napatingin ako sa taong kakaupo lang sa tabi ko. Napatulala ako ng makita siya. He smiled at me. Ilang sandali akong natulala sa ngiti niya.

"Hi."

"H-hello."

"Been looking for you."

"Bakit?"

Inayos niya ang upuan paharap sa akin. Mukhang seryoso ang sasabihin niya. Tumingin siya sa mga mata ko, medyo seryoso ang ekspresyon ng mukha niya. Bigla tuloy akong kinabahan. 

"I have something to ask you, and I'm hoping you'll say yes." Nagtatanong ang tingin na ibinigay ko sa kanya. "Will you be my prom date?"

My jaw dropped. "A-ano? Sorry, pwedeng pakiulit?"

I was lost for words when he suddenly held my hand. "Be my prom date."

"A-ako? Sigurado ka ba?" He smiled and nodded. Unti-unti akong napangiti. "Then yes."

Bailey helped me find a dress for the prom. Halos naikot na namin ang buong mall sa kakahanap pero wala pa rin akong mapili. Buti na lang ay hindi nagrereklamo ang kaibigan ko. Matter of fact, siya pa ang mukhang mas excited kesa sa akin.
