Chapter 8: "And we are gonna last. You know how I know? Because I still wake up every morning and the first thing I want to do is see your face." P.S. I love you

Ganon pala iyon- isang ngiti lang ng taong mahal mo ay nawawala na parang bula lahat ng hinampo mo sa kanya. Ganito pala.. isang linggo lang kaming hindi nagkita pero yung pakiramdam ko ay ilang taon ko siyang hindi nakita. 

I just missed him so bad that seeing him now overwhelmed me.

Isang mahigpit na yakap ang isinalubong ko sa kanya. Napuno ng saya ang puso ko ng makita ko siya sa labas ng school at naghihintay sa akin. He chuckled as he hugged me back.

"You missed that much huh?"

I hugged him tight one last time then let go. "Sobra."

He smirked. "Let's go?"

Ngumiti ako ng may tunog at kumapit sa braso niya. He opened the door for me, and I just love it every time he does it. Pakiramdam ko ay iniingitan niya ako kahit sa simpleng mga aksiyon na katulad nito. Pakiramdam ko ay isa akong prinsesa.

"Ihahatid mo na ba ako?" tanong ko habang nagmamaneho siya.

He glanced at me. "Gusto mo na ba?"

I shook my head. "Ayaw."

"Then let's go to my new favorite restaurant. They serve the best food."

"Sure!"

Labas pa lang ng restaurant ay nagustuhan ko na. The design is very unique. Lalo na sa loob. Ang ganda ng mga mural sa wall. I was really impressed. Nagustuhan ko rin ang homey vibe nito. 

"Order for me please?" malambing na saad ko sa kanya. 

Ang isa sa mga problema ko kapag kumakain sa restaurant ay hindi ako makapili ng gusto kong kainin. So sometimes it takes me so long in placing my order. At alam iyon ni Vash kaya madalas ay siya na ang namimili para sa akin.

He ordered a lot for us. Sinaway ko siya pero gusto daw niyang matikman ko ang mga specialty ng restaurant. He was right; the food was really delicious.

"Ang sarap nito. Paano mo nalaman ang restaurant na ito?"

"It was Joey. She brought us here before the rehearsal. Nasarapan talaga kami. And I instantly liked the vibe in this resto."

"Joey?"

"She's my new bandmate. Vocalist din siya but she can also play the guitar. She's so good, mahal. I will introduce you to them soon."

Hindi ko alam kung bakit parang bigla nawalan ako ng panlasa. "Her name is Joey?"

"Joesha," he responded with a chuckle. "But she doesn't like it because according to her it's too baduy. So she prefers to be called Joey"

Tumango-tango ako. "You seem to be close to your bandmates already."

Lumawak ang ngiti niya. "Yeah. It's quite amazing nga how we all just get along well. I think you'll like Joey, too. Cowboy yon."

Tuluyan na akong nawalan ng gana. Kahit hindi ko pa nakikilala ang kabanda niya ay may disgusto na akong naramdaman. It seemed that he had finally noticed that I was not in the mood anymore.

"What's the problem, Mahal? Hindi mo ba gusto?"

"Masarap naman pero busog na ako."

"You haven't even eaten much." Ngumiti lang ako ng bahagya at nagkibit-balikat. "Do you wanna eat something else?"
