"Hi, I'm luz" I smile overing a hand.

"Willow" the girl amity was making fun of smiled. "Are you new here?" She asks slowly standing up and dusting off her skirt.

"Yeah, I just started classes today"

"Really? What coven path are you taking?" She asks adjust her glasses.

"I'm not sure, I wanna try a little of everything."

"Is that allowed?"

"I don't see why not" I shrug "what about you?"

"Well currently I'm studying abomination, but I really like plant magic and I'm actually good at it."

"Well, why not switch?"

"It's frowned upon."

"So a human witch, but that never stoped me." I smile

"Wait.. you're a human?" She asks

"Yeah" I smile sticking out my ears. "See"

"That's incredible! I've never seen a human before. You have to met Gus he's the head of the human apprentice club."

"Um, okay" I smile, she seems much nicer then amity.

"Gus! Gus!" She waves over a shorter boy with elf ears.

"What is it willow?" He asks running over.

"This is luz" she pulls me over. "She's the first-"

"Human?!" Gus interrupts her. "She's a human?"

"Yeah.." I smile.

"She's the first human witch to attend our school." Willow finishes her sentence.

"Amazing, can you tell me humany things?" He asks

"Sure, what do you wanna know?"

"What's it like I'm the human world, how do you travel?" He asks a thousand questions. It seem like maybe I found a few new friends.

(Time skip)

"Eda, I'm home" I yell walking into the owl house.

"Welcome back luz, ready to drop out?" She asks. "There's no shame in quitting."

"I think I'm gonna be okay" I smile.

(Time skip again) I'm lazy

It's been a few weeks since I started at hex side, me Gus and willow have gotten into a bunch of shenanigans and have grown even closer. But I can't help but find myself staring at amity.

"Luz? Luz?" Willow taps my shoulder.

"I'm sorry, wait?" I ask, snapping from my train of thought.

"Me and Gus are going to the lake later to practice a new spell, do you want to come?"

"I'd love too!! But I can't" I say disappointed, I total forgot Eda wanted me to return her old Library books. And that will take forever, since hoody likes hiding them. "I have to run errands for eda, sorry."

"It's fine" Gus reassures me. "We can go together another time."

"You guy are the best!" I smile pulling them in for a hug.

I take my first stack of books to the library, we're I notice a green haired girl reading to a bunch of children. "Amity?" I whisper.

"You might as well look around kid" the librarian sighs. "These books have been expired longer then you've been alive, it's gonna take me for awhile to find the cards for these things."

"Okay" I nod, wandering down a random section, trying to avoid a certain someone.

"What this?" I whisper, noticing a books been placed in the wrong section. But to my surprise when I pulled in the book a secret door opened.

"OMG!" I shriek noticing the good witch Azura series sitting in the second to top shelf. "Oh, they only have volumes one to four."

"What are you doing here?" Someone yells
