Confusion

Amity's POV

School sucked again, at least my mom hasn't found out yet. "Where is she?" I ask looking around the field we were suppose to me up once school ended?

"Amity" she smiles hugging me from behind. "Hope you haven't been waiting long.

"Hey," I blush. "It's fine, I only got here a few minutes ago."

"Sorry again, me and willow kinda made mutant plant zombies."

"Really? That sounds exited." I smile walking beside her, as she connects our hands.

"What can I say, it's a normal day at hex side." She chuckles.

"Not for me, nothing exiting ever happens in my class. Unless we have a sub, then all hell breaks lose. But my teacher has only take one sick day back when I was eight so the chances of that happening are slim.

"I could be your abomination" she runs forwards walking around like a zombie.

"I don't think that'll work" I
chuckle. "I don't think you could stay focus for that long."

"If I tried I could..oh amity, look at that bird."

"My point exactly"

"Whatever" she rolls her eyes, running back over to grab my hand. "We better get going"

"Where?" I ask for the tenth time today.

"I can't tell you or it won't be a surprise. Now you have to close your eyes."

"Luz, no. I don't want to walk into a tree."

"You're not going to."

"Yes I am"

"No you're not, just trust me?" She asks

"Fine" I mutter, closing my eyes.

"Okay, just fallow me" she guides me where to go, then I head butt a tree.

"Luz!"

"Sorry, you walk to fast."

After a few minutes, and running into a lot of trees we finally get to our destination. "You can open your eyes now."

"The beach?" I question,

"I thought it could be fun, and willow told me it was your favourite place to go when you were younger." She smiles sitting in the sand. "She said it was because this place-"

"Had the prettiest sunset" I finish her sentence sitting next to her. "I can't believe willow remember that." I pause for a moment, "doses willow know about us.

"Not yet, I was super sneaky in getting information from her." Luz says, sounding kinda off.

"Are you okay?" I ask, inching my hand closer to hers.

"Yeah, I mean I love dating you and everything. But I.."

I pull my band back, oh no

"I feel bad for the person you were gonna ask to grom."

I can help but chuckle.

"What! I do okay, it feel like I was your second choice." She starts freaking out.

"Luz, I was gonna ask you to grom." I take her hands. "That's kinda why I kissed you."

"You could of told me that sooner, I've been freaking out about since we started dating."

"I thought you already knew. It was pretty obvious."

"Now I feel like an idiot." She sighs

"Hey, your my idiot" I smile, leaning in to connect our lips.
