Several days had passed with little to no drama as the alien hiding in my garage seemed to like staying alone and his little freaky friend was no where to been seen either. I had a few errands to run starting with heading to my parents old home  back to my own home to check on things praying that no one had broken in as I'd planned to check it every other day but with real life those plans go out the window. The sun was slowly rising as I got up early to prepare things as I planned on staying until at least early afternoon, I may have slightly over estimated the time it would take to get ready but at least traffic wouldn't be as bad going away from it's busy streets into the peace and serene countryside. Before leaving I went to tell Barricade I was off but when I opened the garage door to my surprise he was gone, I looked around the back of the house making sure he hadn't just been wondering around or parked in the street somewhere for a different view but the giant alien robot was no where in sight.

I wonder if he's gone?

I shrugged my shoulders, it wasn't really my problem to worry about it's not like I expected a thank you with chocolates and flowers for my troubles anyway, I placed my bag on the passenger seat and ignited the engine listening to the purring sound momentarily before beginning my journey. Nothing was amiss but my mind kept going back to wondering where Barricade had gone but I didn't really know why, it's not like he was very social-able but then again neither was I really, and he was always straight to the point on things maybe that's why I kind of enjoyed his presence in a way. Maybe in another world we would've have been friends, abruptly a strange mechanical sound paused my thoughts and I turned to the direction of said noise.

"Surprise fleshy!!!" Frenzy's manic laughter made me jump as he burst out from my bag.

"Fucking Christ!!" I bellowed narrowly avoiding a passing car.

"You fucking lunatic!" I scolded to Frenzy who just sat in the seat laughing at my fright. Minutes passed and his laughter eventually died down and I turned to him.

"What are you doing here?" I questioned as he eyed me he seemed to be distracted by something but I couldn't figure out what before he finally answered.

"Call it a day off fleshy" he stated.

"How nice of you to grace me with your presence." Looking to him sarcastically.

Out of the corner of my eye I could see him adjusting himself in the seat gently tapping his hands to the music on the radio, I didn't know what to make of the situation or his intentions but he seemed to be enjoying himself so I turned the music up driving in somewhat comfortable silence.

When we pulled up my new company looked towards the house curiously.

"What are we doing here?" He questioned.

"This used to be my dads parents place, when they passed mum and dad done it up for renting out, I'm just checking on it." I explained grabbing my bag and making my way to the door hearing the strange being closely behind me.

Upon entering the house the new decor was at first a little odd, being used to how it looked as I grew up and seeing the newer more modern look was strange but I'll admit I'd be happy with it, it was renovated nicely. Within minutes I could hear Frenzy poking around belongings in curiosity and to be honest if it kept him occupied from attacking me then I was happy to leave him be, after a while Frenzy had settled himself on the couch watching several documentaries, only now and again did he look towards my direction intensely focusing on me for several seconds to which I ignored the feeling of his stare, I didn't know if he was just curious, plotting or doing something I was unaware of eventually he lost interest. After I finished looking around I sat on the chair close to my unexpected house guest, he caught my stare.
