Thinking Out Loud // Ed Sheeran

Chapter 13.

Meredith's POV

"Wake up guys!" I hear Lillian yell into the room. Roling over I accidently push Ed off the couch. "We need to finish learning the dance now, we're going to start filming today." I cover my face in the blankets only to have them pulled off by an angry looking Ed.

"Sorry." I giggle standing up. "What do we wear?" I ask Lillian as I look to the clock near the doorway where she stands.

"Your outfits are hanging up behind the curtains. I'm sure you'll know who's is who's." She says walking further in te room. "Hurry, we don't have too long left before the three months we rented this place is over."

Rushing to the curtain, I find a white dance outfit. I like it, it shows all off all of my legs, but has a see-through flowy fabric that hangs off the hips and goes to about mid-calf. It's strapless so it must be reallytight on top to keep it from falling down.

I quickly change and walk out of the curtain. For once I beat Ed. He always changes so fast. Right alfter brushing my hair out, Ed walk out wearing a suit without a blazer. "How come you get shoes and I don't." I ask him pouting.

"So you won't accidently kick me in the face maybe." He says completly serious making me laugh. "Let's go learn the rest." I follow him out the door and down the hall.

"Ready?" I ask him as we step into the ball room.

"I think so." He huffs out.

"We only have about three more moves to learn, they're not that hard really. Then we;ll begin recording." Lillian says pulling us onto the dance floor. "After you have to flip over Ed's shoulder, spin out and grab his hand. He'll spin you back in, then dip you on the beat."

"Like this?" Ed asks before grabing my hand and actually spinning me out. Then pulling me back in.

"Yes. For the dip, bend on of you leg, but don't kick. Flip your hair back and come back up. Try that." She says. We do as she said and she immediatly smiles. "Perfect. Then Meredith, you take a step this way." She says pointing in the right direction. "Look back at him, when he grabs your arm turn to him and hold his hand."

"Your instructions are so confusing Lillian." Ed sighs. I understand most of them, but really, I don't know exactly how she want's it to look.

"Just go with what you think I'm saying, sometimes what you think I mean is better than what I actually mean." She laughs.

"Okay." I say getting ready. I take a step away, once I feel his hand around y arm, I look at him and turn back holding his hand in mine.

"Good, now Ed jump this way, still holding her hand." He does as told."Then Meredith pulls you back and she jumps so your both side by side." I pull him back and jump as close as I can. "Finally, bend your knees, sit down, and push back."

"At least the end it easy." I say making Ed laugh.

A/N I'm using the real dance they do. Look up the music video if you don't under stand what I'm saying. I don't dance so I really don't know how to say this stuff.

"Once you're both pushed back, lay down and wrap your leg around him like your cuddling." I do the final step and smile. We're done. "Do you remeber it? Well even if you don't, we're going to do multiple takes anyways, so it doesn't matter."

"Camera's ready!" The director yells. I do not know him, I've seen him around before though. "Get to starting positions." He tells Ed and I. We're the only two on the actual dance floor. There are camera's in ever corner of the room, and a camera guy running around all over the place for good shots.

"Play music! Action!" The director yells once more before we start the dance. The music is playing so that we can keep the dance in sync, they're just going to edit the music in the back ground for the real thing.

Ed and I are doing great until the part where we lay down next to each other about 30 seconds into the song, because when we have to spin around Ed and I's heads hit each other.

"Cut!" He yells.

"How many takes do we have to do today?" I ask Amy who's by the side of the door.

"They said only 20 takes today, then you're free for the rest of th day. But you have more recording tomorrow." She answers. It's going to be a long day today.

My sister is flying back to Texas today :(    i live in New Hampshire so that's pretty far. and sorry for the horibleness of me trying to explain dance...
