Meredith's POV
"We're here." Ed sings while a giant smile spreads across his face. He just pulled the car into a parking space on the side of the street. Not any special place, just a street in London.
"Where?" I ask looking around before looking back to him.
"Look around again, then guess." He says trying to hide his amusement. I love how he finds my distress funny. I twist around in the passengers seat to try getting a better look at the surroundings. And that's when I see it. The street sign.
It says 'Baker st.'. "Oh my god, Teddy. You didn't." I say with my mouth wide open. I look across the street and find the door that says 221B. "The Sherlock Holmes museam?!" I scream making him burst out in laughter.
"Yes I did." I manages to cough out in between laughs. "I knew you love those Sherlock Holmesbooks, and the Sherlock show."
"Aw, thank you. Thank you. Thank you." I says leaning over the cars console and kissing him all over his face. "I love you!" I can't believe myself right now, or Ed. He remembered my favorite show and book, and I'm basically proving that I should be put in an insane asylum.
"I love you too, Merebear. And I have a tiny little present after we go through the museum." He says with a little smirk.
"What? You should have told me! Now I don't have a present for you, Teddybear." I whine out leaning back in my seat, crossing my arms over my chest, and pouting like a child.
"Well, this is a day for you. Mainly because you've been working so hard, and be cause I miss you while you're out dancing." He pauses to think. "And because I like spoiling you."
"Thanks Teddybear." I say a little calmer before getting out of the car and jumping across the street, managing to not get him. Ed follows close behind as I examine the building. It looks just like the one from the show, it even has the little restaurant under it.
"Do you want to eat, then go in the museum, or go to the museum then eat?" He asks taking my hand in his.
"We should eat first, I'm so hungry." I say clutching my stomach in my free hand and exaggerating my words to make myself seem more hungry.
"Food it is." He says pulling my into the restaurant under the apartment. We're seated immediately, which surprises me because it's extremely busy here. I'm sure the museum will be even worse.I order Mac and Cheese, and Ed orders a cheese burger.
"So what did you get me?" I ask. He knows that surprises are my weekness. One Christmas I opened all my presents a few days before whe my parents weren't home, just because I needed to know.
"Can't tell you yet, Merebear." He says making me send an evil look. "Use your Sherlock Holmes skills to find out what I got you."
"I'm not as good as him yet though Teddy. Please, the suspence is eating me alive." I beg putting a hand to my forehead and using my best acting skills to seem as if I would die if he doesn't tell me right now.
"Sorry, Mere. But I'm not falling for than one again." He says crossing his arms this time. I can see quite a few people look at Ed and I, but are too shy or scared to come ask for his autographer of picture.
"Falling for what again?" I ask innocently.
"The 'Do-it-or-I'll- pass-out' look." He huffs rolling his eyes at me.
"It's actually the 'Do-it-of-I'll-die' look." I correct him earning a giggle right before the lady brings us our food. Me being me, I basically devour the whole bowl of Mac and Cheese in under a minute while Ed just sits and watches in amazement.
"Wow, I guess you weren't joking about being hungry when you chose to eat first." He laughs as I finish my last bite right before he takes his first.
"Well, who would ever choose to eat second?" I laugh out taking a large sip of my water to wash down the food. I have to admit, that was quite a lot of food I just ate and really fast as well. Before I can stop myself, a loud hiccup slips out making Ed stop eating and laugh at me.
One after one, the hiccups keep coming. With each one, Ed laughs louder and louder making multiple people stare at us with a confused look. "Teddy - stop laughing- at - me." I manage out through hiccups. I hate hiccups, they make my heart feel like it's beating differently.
"Then stop being so cute." He smiles.
"Aw stop - it." I say waving my hand playfully at him. Soon after my hiccups die down, the lady comes with our check. The two of us pay before I run back outside and get in line for the museum."I swear, no ones ever been more exited for a museum than you are." He says completely seriously while grabbing my hand. I like whe he holds me hand. I rest my head on his shoulder as we wait for us to be at the front of the line.
"Two adult tickets for the museum please." Ed asks the man right in front of the door. After he hands us the tickets and Ed pays we enter. The first thing in view is a stair case. Ed nudges me to go first, and I gladly do.
"Do you think it will look just like the show?" I whisper back to him. As I near the door to the main part of the apartment.
"I don't know, I've never seen the show." He whispers back still holding my hand to let me know he's till there. I open the door and gasp. It's just like the show, well the show has more modern wall papers and stuff like that, but the fireplace is in the same spot. And the kitchen, even the bedroom.
All the people on the tour right now pile in the room and the lady begins speaking about the history of of Sherlock Holmes even though he was a fictional character.
To be honest, I wasn't even listening. Really I was just looking around the apartment half the time, then the other half of the time, I was looking at Ed.

I can taste salt water; and if I blink again, We'll be sinking in. So I'll learn to swim in the ocean you made. I'll hold you, and you'll think of him. Pretty soon you'll be floating away.
