Ed's POV

"Then at this part I want Meredith to run over here away from Ed. Do two leaps. And on your way back to him, do a double spin." Lillian instructs to Meredith.

I watch closely as Meredith attempts this dance, but she doesn't have a single flaw. I truly wonder how long she has been dancing, because she is amazing.

"Now Ed when she comes back to you, I want you to grab her hand... and I haven't thought of what happens here." She says trailing off.

"How about it goes like this." Meredith says grabbing my hand. She goes out and does a twirl, then roles back in so I'm holding her in front of me. I look down at her face as she look up at mine. We rock before she spins back out.

"Oh! That is perfect!" Lilian yells. In still practically frozen from being that close to Meredith. She really is beautiful, couldn't have picked a better dancer. "You two can take a little break while I think of what comes next, then you can go over what we already have."

I nod before walking off to the side with Meredith behind me. "Do you want some water?" I ask her.

"Yes, please." She says shaking her head and leaning against the counter next to me. "How many days have we been doing this?" She asks as I hand her a water bottle.

"Five days I think." I reply acting like I don't really count the days.

"Wow. We've already made more. Progress than my usual duets do. We're 3/8 through the song when I would usually be 1/8 through." She smiles.

"We're just that good... and we haven't fully mastered the part we have learned." I point out making her nod in agreement.

"Do you want to review it?" She asks sticking her hand out for me to take. I gladly take it and she pulls me back out to the ballroom floor. Can someone please play the music?!" She yells politely. Someone else begins playing it through the ballroom.

We both begin walking towards each other and from that point on, I go on autopilot and just look into her eyes as my body moves for me.

Meredith's POV

There are many parts in the dance where I run and come back to Ed, but my favorite part so far is when we go back to back and slid down so we're sitting on the ground.

We both spin so that my feet are near his head and his shoes are mean my head. We wave our hands around our heads before I spin and basically cuddle Ed, like with my head on his chest.

After we get to the part we haven't learned yet the music stops and I look at Ed and smile. We share a double high five before going back to Lillian.

"Okay so I like how it is so far and we've done a lot today so you two can call it a night." She says.

"Americans say weird things." Ed mumbles making me giggle.

"Like what?" I ask him as we walk down the halls again.

"Like call it a night, hit the hay, ect." He says making me laugh even harder. He opens the door to out room because I was to busy laughing to do it.

"Well British people are just weird all together." I defend after my laughter calms down. I take a seat on the couch as Ed sits back on he bed.

"Please explain." He urges me to continue.

"You guys eat the smallest portion sizes, you accents make some words sound funny, you call the bathroom a toilet. Like that doesn't make sense! The toilet is the toilet, the bathroom is the bathroom, they're not the same." I giggle.

"Well Americans eat large portion sizes." He chokes out through laughs.

"Technically it's because when the British first came over, they would have festive traditional dinners and they had large families, then as time went on the families got smaller and the dinners stayed the same." I say backing up my heritage.

"You are like a book of useless facts." He giggles. I shrug as if that's not new news.

"I learned the dinner thing in like eight grade Ed. It's just a basic fact." I say trying to sound completely serious but fail because of a giggle that stifled through.

A/N lolz I'm in eight grade

"Whatever. I'm going to bed. Can I sleep up here?" He asks pointing to the bed.

"Yeah, of coarse. Good night Ed." I say. I feel like the best way to bond with someone is learn a romantic dance together. I feel like I've known Ed my whole life.

"No you can sleep up here too. I'll sleep far from you." He says. I nod before walking over to the bed and laying on the side that Ed isn't on. "Good night Mere." (Mere is pronounced Mare)

"Good night Ed."
