Thinking Out Loud // Ed Sheeran

Chapter 18.

Meredith's POV

Since Ed isn't going back to England for a while, I invited him to stay with me. It feel's like it's not a big deal, but honestly it isn't. We've literally lived with each other for three months straight, and now we're dating. But it just seems so different because of the fact we're going it by our own choice now.

Jumping out of my car, Ed gets out of the passengers side as well. Both of us carrying our bags, we walk to the lobby only to see John waiting at the elavator. "John!" I yell dropping my bag and bringing him into a large hug.

"Meredith, I miss you." He says looking behind me when we let go of each other. I pick my bag back up and look between Ed and John. Ed looks slightly tense and confused.

"Ed; this is John, my close friend. John this is Ed; former dance partner, and current boyfriend." I introduce. I can see Ed get less tense when I call him my boyfriend.

"Nice to meet you, John." Ed greets shaking his hand.

"You too." The elavator ride up isn't as awkward as I assumed it would be, Ed and I told John all about how the music video will be released tonight and how we worked so hard on it.

"See you guys later." John says as we get off onto my apartments floor. I wave to him before Ed and I walk off down the hall with him following close behind.

"I feel like I haven't been here in so long." I huff while unlocking the door. The fresh sent of my favorite purfume and candles fill my nose with the first step I take inside. I throw my bag to the side of the door and run, jumping on the couch. "I missed this couch." I say trough muffled tones due to the pillow blocking my face.

"That's cute." I hear Ed laugh. I push myself up to look at him.

"What is?" I ask tilting my head to the side, thinking hes talking about a paiting on the wall or something.

"You are." He says making me blush.

"So sweet." I giggle flopping over to the other side of the couch. "When is the music video coming out?" I ask him pulling my phone out of my back pocket to check the time.

"6 O'clock I believe." He asnwers taking a seat next to me.

"Yes! It's closer than I thought." I yell exitedly. It's 3 Pm right now meaning only three hours. "I can't wait to see it. Hopefully we don't look stupid." I giggle taking the remote off the coffee table and turning the TV on. "When do we have to worry about you going back to England?"

"We just got here, we have plenty of time not to worry." He laughs hrowing a pillow at me.

"Oh no you didn't!" I yell picking the same pillow up off the ground and chucking it right at him. Being the stubborn people we are, neither of us want to lose so we started a pillow fight. I run down the main hall and jump in the closet closest to the kitchen. I know he doesn't know his way around, so I have the advantage.

"No fair, Merebear. I don't know where anything is." He whines. I can tell by his voice that he's at the end of the hall and walking down it. I can hear his steps getting closer, by this point  I can barely control my giggles.

"Ah ha!" He yells opening the closet making me scream. Throwing my over his shoulder, I try iggling myself free but fail completly. Ed throws me back on the couch and tickles me. I scream out in laughter. "Say I win." He says still tickling me.

"Never!" I yell back between laughs.

"Say it."

"Fine! You win!" I yell making him stop tickling me and sit next to me on the couch. "No fair. Tickling is my weekness." I pout sitting up and crossing my arms.

"You hid from me when I didn't know where anything is, so we're even." He pouts back doing the same as me. I turn my back and rest my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes from being so tired. "Oh my god." Ed says making my eyes shoot open.

"What?" I ask looking around the room to see what happened.

"Look on the Tv." Ed says with a little laugh. I grab the remote and turn it up listening to the ady speak.

"After three days, everyone is still raving about the video of Ed Sheeran and his date, Meredith Jane arriving at the Hobbit premier. They pulled up in a limo with all the windows down screaming the lyrics to Ed Sheeran's hit single 'Thinking Out Loud'. Meredith is starring in Ed Sheeran's new music video for this song that comes out tonight. Many others have seen these two around a lot together and believe that they're dating."  Soon after the lady finishes speaking the video of us singing in the limo comes on.

"That is the best video ever." Ed laughs making me smile.

"Yes it is." I agree resting my head back on his shoulder. "It feels weird to have my name said on national Tv." I laugh.

"Yeah, I'm still not fully used to it." Ed replies. Now that that was said, I'm sure there will be much more talk about how people think Ed and I are dating.

I have HUGE plans coming up for this book, so there might be a few filler chapters here and there.

Sorry for no update yesturday, I was throwing up and all and could barely move. I didn't go to school today because I was rehydrating myself and filling my stomach back up.

I'm litterally so exited for whats coming up in this book. The ending will lead into the sequel, but it's still pretty far from that. Thank you to everyone who actually likes reading my books, it makes me happy.
